Nice casual lunch on Playa Larga. Staff were friendly, prices reasonable (10.50 for a chicken sandwich and 4.50 for a watermelon granita), and my food came out super quick.

Some people post this place is no mar y Oro. Of course it ain't. It's in a different league. This is just a basic place. No luxury here but the fried fish and the service are good. The coffee is reasonable.

Our favourite place on Contadora. The fish is very fresh and the service was very friendly. Decent glasses of wine for $4.50. Fish dishes came with veggies, potatoes, rice etc for around $15. Nice patio in the center of town

A gem in a crown, called sal y pimienta, welcomes you with great hospitality and home made food. The combination of that is the best dinning and authentic experience on the island. She has great running fans and cool area to cool off after a long day in rye sun.

Tasty food and charming family staff. I had the langostinos and I was surprised it came with so many sides. This place has so much value! Highly recommend it!

About Isla del Rey
Island in Panama

Isla del Rey is the largest island in the Pearl Islands in the Gulf of Panama. It has an area of 234 square kilometres, and a population of 1,676. Its current name is probably more a reference to Christ the King than to a secular king. There are four towns, which are San Miguel, La Esmeralda, La Ensenada and La Guinea. It is larger than the other Pearl Islands combined, and is the second largest island in Panama, after Coiba. source
