Authentic home style Panamanian food, the ceviche de corvina was extremely delicious with nice spicy level. Everything is make fresh and the patacones are peel and fried to order. The jugos naturales extremely delicious and made to order as well. This place is very nice and humble if you are trying to experience food as a local in contadora.

Found this place on Google maps. Our waiter did not speak any English but tried so hard, was patient and just a lovely person! Great food. We will be back. 🙂

Very positive experience! Attentive servers, good portions and fresh seafood! Atmosphere was a tropical vibe with a small garden and open kitchen. Surprisingly, prices were very fair, which is a rare finding on Contadora. I’ll surely come back

The other affordable restaurant on Isla Contadora. Mostly filled with locals for dinner been 7-9.
I had the Pescado Filet Dorado $14, which is Mahi Mahi with some kind of garlicky sauce on it, with patacones (fried plantains) & skipped the salad (just say no to uncooked veggies whilst traveling if you're sensitive) & an Agua con gas (perrier) $2.50.
The fish was great and enough for me but might have been a small portion for most folks. The patacones were plentiful and delicious. The waitress was also friendly. She spoke a little English.

The locals were almost all men, who were eating the chicken, rice, & salad-- which looked to be a hearty portion. Get that if you're really hungry! Lol!

Most of them seemed to grab their own drinks out of the fridge.

Best lunch on the island! Make sure to ask for fresh lobster when in season! Lovely service and great cocktails too!

Great experience at a local spot! We went for dinner after a beach day and were the only foreigners there — absolutely amazing meal and reasonably priced! 75$ for 4 people with main plates and drinks!

Comida criolla básica y opciones si no te gusta el pescado. simple local food at a good price considering prices of the island and options if you don’t eat fish.

Excellent local food and a good crowd of hardworking locals who obviously come here for lunch often. Staff is busy and churning out the dishes. Plates are typical, plate of the day which is super because I really don’t want to stare at a menu and have to choose at lunchtime. Great food and even a few different kinds of cerveza.

Simple delicious local food at fair prices. No menu but there is daily fresh fish and dish of the day. We ended up going here 3 out of 5 evenings and it rated the highest for us in taste and value for money

Very simple... and good food!

We had the bbq pork chop with rise. It was so delicous! Big pork chops, even an extra potato salad. Nice staff och atmosphere. We have been in all restaurants on the Island and this is the defenetly the best one!

This lugar is amazing - if you want to feel the local experience this is your place- and the food is super rich and the cookers always try to please you and will find a solution if you may like to try something. The service is very polite and the prices are super fair. If I go back to contadora I will return for sure

We ate here a few times. Food was always fresh and very tasty. As I was told Angelina came from Columbia, so kitchen has Colombian influence. 5 stars! Muy muy RICO!

Very nice food, we came here everyday for breakfast and dinner. Can highly recommend - even vegetarian options available (thanks for the advice Tony!)

Great local spot for Panamanian food. Had ceviche de pulpo, pollo a la plancha, and patacones on the menu when we went. The homemade hot sauce was great!

Best fish I've ever had.

Quiet and cozy little place. We tried two of the three options they were offering for dinner — grilled chicken and an octopus ceviche — and both were great.

Nice affordable restaurant on Contadora, would recommend sticking to the meals of the day, usually the best options!

There was a dish of the day and no other options, but it was amazing. Tasty and great price.
