Gamma

A fantastic “compact” Gamma in the shadows of Oud-west Amsterdam. It’s a 5 min cycle ride from Jordaan and oud-west. It’s kind of funny to call this a compact store because it’s huge for Amsterdam!

The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable.

I bought a cool new rear light for my bike and a hard brush for my terrace. Try cycling home with a big push broom!

The cashier was smart and knew I needed my bungie cord package opened so she grabbed a pair of cutters and helped me.

It was nice and quiet on a Saturday afternoon too.

The staff member (Ivo) was very helpful and took the time to properly explain what we need for fitting lights

This is the best hardware store ever. I love it here. The staff are so nice and helpful they make me want to learn woodworking or smtn just so I could go more often. They always seem happy to help and advice and are really accommodating. Also, this is so close to the center! What a win

Okay place, quite empty mostly and with a good variety of products for being near to the center. I am finding everything I need and the staff speaks good English! Much better place than the local shops around.
