If you want to see what cheese heaven looks like, you will need to visit this store. Kaasland has all the possible selection of cheese you could imagine. It was just a pleasure to discover this store.

Great variety of cheeses and a better stop over the other commercialized shops. The staff were very helpful and patient with us. I had heard they will make you a sandwich with fresh bread, sliced cheese of your choice and selected veggies. The woman who helped my husband and I was so great! Would highly recommend going out of your way to get your cheese here!

A cheese shop... are we in France? but honestly very nice store layout, good variety of staff and moderately helpful staff. Worth stopping and taking a look at the different options if you are in the area, and are considering buying some cheese.

The croissants are so crispy, airy, and delicious. I bought a chocolate croissant back to the US for my husband. After a 15 hour flight, the croissant was still delicious.

My go-to cheese shop the few times I'm in Amsterdam a year. They carry a large selection of farmhouse Dutch cheeses and the advice is outstanding; shopping there is always entertaining.

Amazing cheeses with lovely fresh baked rolls and croissants. The range range of cheese is HUGE, so much deliciousness and super friendly service. If your in the area you simply have to try some of their cheeses. Also, do yourself a favour and pop across the street to the little corner shop that sells a great variety of meat. They'll slice it up for you and even match your meat selection to the cheeses you buy from Kaasland! This is a must stop area of Amsterdam, really made our trip.

This is literally a cheese store (and bakery). Nothing touristy, just a great shop. Very friendly service. You can sample a larger variety of cheese than at the tourist places and you can buy it in any quantity. They'll vacuum seal for trips home as well.

They have a large selection of items including sandwiches, bread, cheese, pastry, nuts, candy and more. Friendly and helpful service. I personally shop here for daily bread, cheese and sometimes a yummy croissant 😍

the best cheese you can get in holland. you can try out almost everything. the personal is very friendly and they make excellend snacks. if you want something special tell it to them and they make it happen.
everything cheese related is recommended, and so is the pizza.
i would not buy the appelflappen or the sweet stuff, but thats not their main venue anyway

What I like to do when going to the Netherlands is step into a cheese shop with one sentence: 'Hallo, oude kaas graag' (Hello, aged cheese please). These magic words get you the best aged cheese preferred by the shop keeper. In this particular store I scored very well, and everyone who tasted this cheese agrees. Kaasland Haarlemmerdijk has very friendly service, and I will be back here next time I am in Amsterdam!
