Unusual and friendly supermarket with a lot of locally produced fresh products, healthy items and seldom seen elsewhere groceries. Memorable place

Landmarkt is a wonderful supermarket to go to for inspirational shopping. Freshly baked bread welcomes you into the store, followed by a respectable produce section that stocks some of the more rare vegetables next to the standard greens.

This is followed by the ready to eat meals made fresh in their in-store kitchen, and a staffed cheese section with an extensive selection of Dutch and international cheeses.

Next up is the fish section, also staffed. Here you can choose from a decent variety of fresh fish, portioned to order, and a large fish and seafood freezer section. Of course, fresh oysters and mussels are always available.

The butchers' section has a large range of sliced deli meats, a couple of fridges with pre-portioned staples such as steaks and mince, and again a staffed section where you can get cuts like short rib and rib-eye to order.

All of this is complemented by a good selection of wines and craft beers.

And if you're overwhelmed or don't feel like cooking, you can always decide to eat in the restaurant, where everything is made using ingredients from the store.

All in all, a very nice experience and a great example of how a supermarket can be made to inspire and enjoy.

Excellent farm produce and very chilled cafe garden. Great fresh deli food and variety options produce. Very good bakery and massive selection of beer and wine. Especially like the Belgian beer selection

Amazing steak and burger. It’s nice ambience at the restaurant and then you can also go for grocery shopping which has a lot of local and organic products. The entire experience is great.

Enjoy also the restaurant with plenty fresh meals, seasonal vegetarian products, wonderful cakes and fresh bread.
Parking spots always available.
In the evening you can see nice sunset standing on the polder.
Take a bottle wine, some cheese and have a seat on the polder to enjoy a sunset.

The restaurant at landmarkt is possibly my favourite place to eat around Amsterdam. We have been here several times and the food is always very high quality and very tasty. You can’t go wrong with the pasta or risotto lunch specials(we’ve tried it 3 times and always delicious). The supermarket is great too with good variety of local and organic products. There are goats and a small grassed area outside with a swing set to let the kids run off some energy.

Great medium size store with a huge selection of great quality groceries and other goodies.
Friendly staff as well.
If you are also looking for flowers, this is the place.
We always liked to buy here during our stay for our holidays.
If we are in the area in the future again, we will definitely be back

Best supermarket for fresh food (fish, meat, vegetables) I’ve been to in Amsterdam

Great place with a large selection of quality products and fresh produce. They also have an excellent seafood counter where you can find good fish and seafood. I bought scallops and lobster and the quality was excellent. Staff is friendly and helpful. It is becoming my new place to get fresh ingredients and original products that you don't find somewhere else.

Lovely covered food market that sells a large selection of great products varying from freshly baked breads to fruits, vegetables and more. There is also a fishmonger and butcher on site offering high quality meat and seafood. Whether you are looking for Canadian lobster (frozen) or fresh fish and seafood, it's very likely you'll find it there.
There is also a small section of locally produced chocolates. They looked delicious so I bought a box and they were delicious indeed.
Prices are reasonable to. It's only a 15 minute drive by car from Amsterdam. Definitely worth the trip. I can highly recommend this market.

A bit more expensive but with unique products..

Simply the best grocery store in Amsterdam!! A great assortment of local fruits and veggies as well as a wide cheese assortment. I always spend more money than expected but never regret it. The shopping experience here is great! If you have the chance, try the restaurant for some high quality food at a very reasonable price (considering its Amsterdam).

The prices are fine and there are lots of varities at the market and it smells really good, but if you are hungry , you should not expect to find a full meal at the restaurant before noon.

It looks like a garden centre from the outside, inside there is a fantastic supermarket with loads of local produce. We stopped by just to explore a new place when cycling from A to B.

Not only supporting local farmers and being offered several modern organic food options, but occasionally the same goods as in regular supermarkets. In terms of price vs quality though, this is probably the best place anywhere near the centre of Amsterdam (depending on what you consider near).

It feels almost like a French supermarket in terms of fresh produce and just the sense of quality overall. I bought local ciders and beers that even a restaurant owner serving alcohol did not know of. There was fresh, fruit, meat and vegetables, but also readymade meals. I was able to walk with enough space to calmly enjoy my visit, in contrast to other supermarkets where you constantly have staff entering your personal space to the restock shelves.

As a paradox to being an eco-friendly place for foodies, I would have loved to go here by car to be able to stock up on more fresh produce before going home. Nevertheless, the place is a gem which is perfectly accessible by bike as well.

Great selection of foods, beers and more. Even though it's store, you can often sample all kinds of food and talk to experienced people to get more info. The store is very cosy and there's even a space to order lunch

You always end up with more groceries than you intended, but it's worth while! Lovely fish department. Restaurant inside. The takeaway menus are great too.

I really like this store. Fruits and vegetables are much much better than in AH and so is the meat and the gastronomy section. Prices are, in my experience, 20-ish% more expensive that others but the extra quality is definitely worth it.
