Nice and really good record store for jazz lovers. If you like jazz Vinylspot is a must see if you are in Rotterdam. You can also find very interesting world music

Mostly secondhand but what a selection. There is a constant offering of hard-to-find albums sold here. Well organized and plentiful. The emphasis is on Jazz but you can also find rare items outside in Reggae, Rock, Funk and World music.

One side of the store (where you enter) has the high quality and more expensive records and is a digger's heaven. Expensive does not mean over-expensive because I scored quite some good deals here.

The other side has records priced to sell. So 3 for 40 Euros kind of thing. But interestingly, you will find records in those bins that you will hardly find in any store in Western Europe for these prices. Later pressings, too much scuffed, cover with too much wear. This is what sets the standard in the other part of the store so high. But if you are starting a collection, this is where to start.

This is one of three recordshops in this area of the city, not more than 400 meters apart: Plaatboef, Vinylspot and Demonfuzz which are all unmissable.

deffendly One of the best Adresses for a Jazz lp collector. the Shop is full of old collecteble Releases ,US-blue note / impulse pressings. and the prices are really low for what you get. close to Rotterdam central Station makes it worth a visit !!!

Very good selection of vinyls in general but excellent & enormous collection in Jazz scene. One of the best Jazz spots in EUROPE!!!

There are very few record stores in the Netherlands worth visiting if you are into original pressings. Together with Klinkhamer (located in Groningen), Vinylspot in Rotterdam -in walking distance from Rotterdam Central Station- is a must. Jazz is clearly the focus, though I bought many Reggae, Soul and Latin albums over the last few years, too. Collectible items abound!

The place to be if you’re a jazz lover! Great selection and some bargains if you like to dig.

Kleines und Übersichtliches Geschäft, bestehend aus zwei Räumen. Der Vinyl-Bestand ist auf Jazz und Soul ausgerichtet . Das interessante ist der Buch- und Zeitschriftenbestand. Auch Technik wird angeboten. Es sind auch Plattenspieler und Zubehör im Angebot.

Ontzettend uitgebreid assortiment als het gaat om Jazz in wat voor vorm ook. Als je wat zoekt pak je er zelden naast. Echt leuk speuren in deze overzichtelijke winkel naar de plaat die je zoekt.

Alternatieve Vinyl zaak met meer jazz/blues
Eigenaar weet alles over de platen die ze hebben, hele vriendelijke man met goede smaak voor muziek!

Gezellige muziekervaring gerund door geïnformeerde liefhebbers. Ik kom hier niet vaak, maar het is nooit een straf hier te zijn. Ga zeker eens op bezoek, ze hebben iets wat je leuk vindt.

Goeie zaak met ruim assortiment. Eigenaar is een zeer betrouwbare expert op het gebied van jazz en geeft een mooie en eerlijke prijs voor inruil.

Geen James Last of andere meuk in deze winkel; het inkoop beleid is vast streng want je vindt hier alleen maar bijzonder spul.
De eigenaar is een bron van informatie.

Leuke platenzaak, prijzen zijn zeer redelijk, inderdaad veel Jazz. Maar gevonden wat ik zocht.

1 van de mooiste winkels, mss wel de mooiste, die ik in jaren heb bezocht! Zowel van inrichting als van aanbod.
