📬📦One of the few UPS locations that is open after office-hours. Post/package service is well organized, and they implement great hygiene measures.
🛒🏪This shop has late opening hours, and provides the option to people to shop after shop/restaurant opening hours. They offer amongst others a wide assortment of drinks (great selection of artisanal beers and various champagnes). Note: prices reflect the accessibility and convenience of this shop, meaning that they are higher then a shop that has ‘regular’ opening hours. Perfectly understandable!

I work next door so I often come to use their services. They are nice and efficient (sending parcels or picking up ones) and great postcards.

It is our place to go when we are missing something to eat/drink, it is convenience store so not your AH prices but you have it quickly and at any time.

I really appreciated the great service of Tony, he was so kind to let me in earlier than the package receiving time, since I had a big package I was carrying. The Pinguin is generally a great shop, with every kind of snack you need, highly recommend : )

This is the best supermarket in Amsterdam. The people running the store are extremely nice and they have most of the essentials.

Mooie avondwinkel in het centrum. Enorm breed assortiment, dus veel keuze als je ‘s avonds nog snel even iets wilt halen. Ook wordt er in de zomer lekker ijs verkocht. Vriendelijk personeel!

随分と昔の話なので今と状況は違うと思いますが、アムステルダムの思い出のひとつ。ある年の1月、私たちは旅の最後の数日をアムステルダムで過ごしていた。当時、毎日夜遅くまで営業しているこの店は珍しく、夕食はナイトショップペンギンでお惣菜を買って宿で食べていた。最後の夜、スタッフが声をかけてきた。『君たちは旅行者？』そうだと答えると、わざわざバックヤードに入って私たちが買った惣菜をレンジで温めてくれた。それから少しばかり話をした。最後にオランダ土産に何がよいかと友人が尋ねると、ジュネヴァを扱う近所の知り合いのお店を紹介してくれた。

この時、ヨーロッパは数年に一度の大寒波の冬だったが、旅の最後に心温まる思い出ができた。あの時はありがとう。どうぞお元気で。

Poco da dire, uno dei pochi bangla aperto fino a notte fonda ad Amsterdam. Il proprietario adora farsi chiamare “il pinguino” e ci ha accompagnato nei momenti più memorabili offrendo servizi impeccabili e accessori/alimentari scadenti a prezzi onestissimi come un accendino bic a 9,5 € e una boccetta d’acqua a 5 €. Soldi chiaramente ben spesi considerando le alternative pressoché assenti durante la notte. Giudizio finale: consigliato per i disperati.
