Super view and food is de decent. Tuna steak was good, I understood it’s better to go for beef steak here. Place is better known for that.

Food special steak was too salty for me but the taste of chicken liver was good. Atmosphere is amazing located front of sea and in bay area you can see huge cruise ship moving front of your eyes... !

Fantastic restaurant with worl renowned steaks, the service was excellent and excellent panoramic views of the harbour

Loetje Amsterdam aan ‘t IJ.

We went here twice this week. We were having lunch and diner.
There was no need to make a reservation since the tables were rotating real quick.
When we arrived we have got a table at the window for lunch and diner was in the middle.

Food:
We started with shrimp croquette, steak Bali Salad and the steak Bali.
This restaurant is infamous for the steak with gravy, but the salad is also a 8/10.
The steak Bali is 9/10 for sure!

Service:
There is a difference in service in lunch and diner, when you are eating at lunch there are possibly students or young ones that don’t have enough experience. I was wondering something with the dish but the answer remained. However at the diner there are real professionals at work. Quick, accurate and excited. So is the experience eating here.

Atmosphere:
This restaurant has one of the best views in Amsterdam when it comes to view at the water. The interior is quite cosy and made to have a quick meal and in mid range coming to price.

Loetje aan ‘t IJ is definitely worth it to try out!

At first, would like to mention about the location. The placement of this restaurant is beyond perfection. You can sit and enjoy the setting sun. Also, you can take food to your boat if you wish.

We ordered Dutch Bitterballen, Shrimp Croquettes, Avocado Fries and Veal’s Liver (Kalb liver) with lemonade. Every food crossed our expectations.

Staffs are very friendly.

Definitely a must try restaurant if you are planning to visit Amsterdam.

This location is really amazing. First of all, the view on the Noordzeekanaal is amazing, you have a lovely harbour next to the restaurant where you can even dock your own boat temporarily to eat at this restaurant. Other than that, the food here also seemed better compared to other restaurants of the franchise Loetje. Therefore I give it 5 stars.

This might be our 5th time in here, and the meal was super delicious as always! Make sure you have a reservation beforehand, as it is very crowded and without a reservation we saw the waiting line was quite long. Because of the crowd it was very noisy this time, we had a hard time hearing each other and the waiter.

Good stakes and nice drinks on marina atmosphere. With view on boats and the sunset. Good service, good drinks. Has own peers for boats with electricity and water.

Looking for a lunch place in Noord we decided to check out Loetje aan het IJ. Beautiful location located on the Marina. Since it was nice weather we could sit outside watching the boats coming in and find a spot in the little harbour.

The service at Loetje is friendly and personal. The menu has a nice variety of lunch options. I love sate so that was a no brainier. Be aware, this dish comes without fries which means you need to order it separately. I ordered sweet potato fries with aioli. All very tasty. Unfortunately no space for dessert so need to come back.

A lovely seaside place with the best steaks in a long while. The place is extremely popular so making a reservation is recommended. Menu seemed diverse and the staff managed to be engaging and friendly despite the hurry caused by a full house. And the food came reasonably quickly.

Beautiful steak! I love that it comes with a pile of sliced white bread to dip in the juices! Delicious.

Its a great place with great food and great foods!
If i only rated the chairs i would have given it 1 star because they suckkkk.
But the steak is so good its definitely worth 5 stars!

So, if you are used to American steakhouses with delicious cuts of filet mignon this place is all that and in a pretty awesome location as well.

Located north of central Amsterdam, this restaurant isn't as crowded as the ones in town (but still just as good).

The chicken soup was hot and delicious. The filet was perfectly cooked and seasoned just right. I had the onions and mushrooms, which even by themselves were a treat and even better on the steak.

One of the unique things they do is bring out two pieces of white bread that you use to soak up the sauce from the dish where the steak was served so you don't have to leave anything behind, that way you don't have to lick the plate!

Sit outside, but come early as outside seating, especially on the South and west sides fill up fast.

Service was friendly and fast.

I'll be back again very soon.

Great location, lovely food, nice service. We went there on a Wednesday evening and the place was packed. So definitely book. I had the vegetarian burger which was delicious. No fake meat but made with tasty veggies.

I thought the stake was small (I had lunch) .

Highly recommend the tenderloin Bali, amazing steak with a great view.

Perfect place for a nice dinner. I can recommend Beef Tenderloin Bali if you like spicy taste and cheesecake. There are inadequate waitresses and this is the only problem at that place.
