Golden Temple Vegetarisch Restaurant

Absolute beautiful restaurant with a lovely history of over than 50 years.

Many Asian and Indian inspired dishes that come in both vegetarian and vegan versions. Their Flavors of India was a super nice one to get to try many dishes at once.

Greeted by their cat named Canela and the lovely staff, we had the honor to dine in their main window private corner. It's full of pillows where you can take off your shoes, sit on the floor, and eat from one of their decades old tables. A special place.

Some very nice vegan pies for dessert as well by the way. One with an intense chocolate flavor, and the other one with coconut and speculoos. Loved it.

Looking forward to come back here.

Love this place! The vegan thali was amazing, atmosphere is very cute, and service is friendly and attentive. Also, the sticky date cake was out of this world!

Coconut curry definitely stole my heart! We spent Valentine's Day there - the food, service, atmosphere - everything was at a high level. We were on the second floor - it was especially romantic and cozy there

The food and drinks were excellent! The atmosphere was so fun! The walls had beautiful Hindu paintings. We really enjoyed our dinner there.

I had amazing food while visiting Amsterdam, but I think the food I ate here was the best! I had the flavours of India (made vegan) which is a selection of curries, and they truly were incredible and highly recommended. When I'm back in Amsterdam, this will be one of my first choices to eat! And to add, the raw chocolate pie and date cake were incredible too. Atmosphere was inviting and comfy, and the staff were lovely too.

this is a true gem, loved everything: food is delicious, they put much care in the presentation and the flavors are very rich. And the cake, amazing! People working here are very kind and caring, service is fast.

Yummy !!! What a delicious experience, heaven for vegans/vegetarians. I can only recommend this restaurant. It has also a small rooftop which is very quiet. The staff is friendly. The food was healthy, perfect. Just my dish arrived ten minutes after the other ones..

Absolutely fantastic! The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. All the food was vegetarian and most could be made gluten free or vegan by request.

Really enjoyed this place- nice cosy but bustling vibe, DELICIOUS food and the staff were friendly as well. Excellent veggie options- would recommend booking ahead, we didn’t and they only just squeezed us in. We particularly loved the jack fruit and black bean tortillas if you like a little heat!

Had such a lovely diner here! Food was really nice, we had the regular naan with delicious dips, the momo’s and mushroom starters and the shared main platter, all so so good! Ended the evening with the date dessert, also veryyy good! Great and kind service and cool ambiance, def recommend!

The food was absolutely amazing. I was really impressed with how delicious it was.
The atmosphere was cosy but a bit loud, mainly because the restaurant was quite busy at that hour.
The service was good and staff very friendly. We were a bit confused when we entered the restaurant as there was no staff member to greet us and we weren't sure if we can just find a seat or wait for someone to take us to a seat.
It was a really good experience, I would definitely go back there. 👌✨

One of the best vegetarian meals I have had in the Netherlands. Quality food made with love and care that came to the table quickly. A lovely ambiance and really a place worth coming back to, thank you!

We didn’t book but luckily they accommodated us upstairs. We were with our young daughter and the food and service were brilliant, and would definitely recommend for young families looking for vegetarian food in Amsterdam

Amazing spot! Sat on the terrace and had the most delicious meal I had in Amsterdam. Menu is easily made vegan - highly recommended the flavours of India to try all the curries !

A must go for Indian food. Nice decor and sitting. Food tea worth the price( yes it’s not on the higher end). To all fellow Indians missing home food, try the north Indian thali(platter) it’s a real home food. Authentic taste and flavours.

Absolutely stunning. Best food I've had in Amsterdam. South Asian/ Indian cities, tempeh, amazing salad, creative imaginative dishes, about €18 for a main. Beautiful place. Comfy and magical
