Amazing. Feels like being transported to an Italian sandwich shop for a quick minute. Super authentic, super good. All about the ingredients and the food, at very fair prices. Cant believe there are more places like this. Truly a hidden gem, although it does seem to be more popular than I had expected.

great place for a quick bite!! we came here twice because the sandwiches were great and cheap!!! every sandwich is 5 euros and there are plenty of choices for vegetarians and meat eaters!! they equally do pasta which we didn’t try but their tiramisu is AMAZING!!! would definitely recommend

Absolute BANGER! Sandwiches are crazy tasty, ingredients are fresh and they have very original combinations. All of this for 4.9€ for a sandwich. Pretty unbelievable if you think about the quality and the location which is in Spui, just behind Dam and in the very core of the canals. People there are all super Italians which makes it very funny to see (I’m Italian as well) and gives out a very energetic vibe. Also there was quite a queue but it went pretty fast so that’s also very good. Super enjoyable experience definitely recommend it to everyone for a sandwich but they also have pasta and desserts. Such a gem!

hospitable and welcoming environment, very kind and friendly italian staff but that's not the most important thing about this place. the quality of the products and how they are made amazes me every time. it's like going to the delicatessen near your home in Italy also for the prices themselves which have nothing to do with the typical ones in Amsterdam. It's incredible that they can guarantee such affordable prices with products of such quality. definitely the best Italian sandwich shop in Amsterdam. Highly recommended to everyone, especially to other Italians who miss home like me!

Really good quality of food and very nice workers. When you want your food warm, you can just simply ask and there is no problem with that. I honestly recommend calzone and sandwiches.

Really nice Italian deli. Arrived at 12:30 when the queue wasn't so large, but soon got fair busy, which is a testament to it's popularity. This place was recommended by a friend and it didn't disappoint. There was a lot of choice on the menu and keen to go back and try the other options.

This is probably the best sandwich spot in Amsterdam. An authentic Italian establishment, their pizzas and desserts are amazing as well. The staff is always friendly, and the prices are great for Amsterdam. Never leaves me unhappy.

This is definitely the best bang for your buck when talking about italian food in Amsterdam. They serve delicious sandwiches, pizzas & pastas and all ingredients are fresh and by italian standards. Everyone working there is Italian and they told me that they keep the prices like they are in italy. Absolutely worth your time, I can highly recommend coming around 11:00 or 16:00. At other times be ready to stand in line.

Best price, best sandwiches and best timing. They do not accept Mastercard, Visa or Amex, it’s better to have cash or Maestro card. Avg price for sandwiches around 4 EUR, extremely cheap for a good meal in Amsterdam. You can grab a coffee as well. All food to go only. A queue moves very fast, don’t hesitate to wait, it will take around 5-10 minutes. Very recommended.

One of the best places I have eaten food in whole Amsterdam! The place is pretty close to the Central station, which makes it easy to move and get there. The queue was a few minutes long, but it was worth it. I am Italian so I am very picky when it comes to Italian food. I was always scared to try it outside of Italy, but I can tell you this one was very good. The whole staff is Italian so it was easy to communicate with them. They were friendly and when they heard me talking about cannolis with my friend in Italian, they offered me one! We ate outside of the place on a small bench a few minutes distant. If you want to try good and genuine Italian food, this is it.

Despite not having Focaccia bread for a sandwich and not having the truffle sauce ravioli - I still very much enjoyed my Cariati Ciabatta & Ravioli with Pesto Sauce

The sandwich was well evenly built and perfectly crunchy
Whilst the pasta was saucy and wonderfully cheesy too!

Best Italian sandwich I’ve ever had. Perfect ciabatta, flavorful pesto for a great price. Staff was friendly and helpful. For a small fee you can double up on the toppings. I had the Mondello and can’t wait to go back to try another sandwich.

Absolute best value weekday lunch you can possibly get in Amsterdam and the sandwiches are delicious! The bread is freshly made in house and everyone is Italian. I had the Cortona panini with extra filling which I highly recommend and the tiramisu which also tasted fab (could be shared between 2)!

everything’s extra good quality, freshly made and absolutely delicious! extremely affordable for what you get! they’re very quick, the line was outside the door all the way on the sidewalk and we managed to get our sandwiches in less than 10 minutes.

Wow! Super mega fast, super tasty, mega fresh and delicious; if you are searching for traditional Italian food with amazing ingredients, with a very typical taste (great price)...and you are in a rush like I do (for pauza time) go there, don't hesitate; please dont be afraid of going in if you see a long line, the service is mega fast...I wish I could talk Italian to understood better the dishes tho...but even didn't knowing what I was ordering, everything was delicious...the warm calzones are just amazing, just go and taste that and you will believe me
