Excellent location for the ferry, quirky building and exceptionally comfortable bed (we slept in five places whilst on our travels and this hotel was the most comfy!). Due to the room being a converted cabin, the shower was rather small, but for a night or two you can't really complain. We'll definitely be returning due to the convenience and excellent views.

Beautiful place on north island, conveniently next to the ferry, restaurants and shops. Its great for getting away from the city but has lots of art and culture. Would recommend. Reception was very helpful too.

Our stay here was wonderful. We didn't want to be in the centre of Amsterdam, so the location of the botel was perfect for us. Just a free ferry from behind the central station straight to there. 12 min ride up the river able to see many new buildings being built. The rooms are basic but clean and well decorated the only thing that would have made it better was to have a kettle in the room for tea and coffee. The views from the boat were amazing. Would definitely go back.

Very nice and friendly reception. Rooms are very clean. Bathroom with shower and toilet is very small but there is always enough space. No air conditioning, but fans can be obtained free of charge at reception. Towels are changed daily on request, as well as bed linen. Maids are very friendly. The breakfast is the same every day, very good quality and very tasty. In the breakfast area, all the employees are very courteous and great attention is paid to cleanliness. The tables are cleared by the employees and cleaned immediately when you leave the table. In winter and summer, the highlight is the deck on two levels, which invites you to linger and relax. Bikes can be rent at the reception its a very quiet hotel and yet you can party. the clientele is mixed. The botel is definitely one of the best and most comfortable hotels I have ever visited. I have been coming to the botel for many years and am never disappointed. If you missed the last ferry, call the hotel and they will give you information such as the phone number of an Uber driver and you can still get to the hotel at night. I was lost at 3am and they helped me get back safely 😇 excellent hotel with super nice staff. All around you are very well taken care of. And yes you can smoke* on the deck nobody will say anything ✌
Best regards

Service, check-in with the automatic system. It is very convenient and very simple. The service at the counter is very friendly. The rooms are reasonably priced. A place for cheap parking. I recommend this place for people with their own cars.

Can't beat the location - literally next to the ferry to Central, which comes every 15 minutes until 10am, then every half hour until 1am. The ferry is free! It takes fifteen minutes max each trip. The Botel is clean, and the breakfast is worth the extra price as there's a big buffet. The rooms are small but not tiny - we stayed in a room for two and it was really cute and cosy, and the bed was big so we didn't feel cramped. Best part is the view! It's also near restaurants, the Street Art Museum, and a cool barcade called Blast Galaxy.

I bloody loved the Botel. The staff are brilliant. Happy, friendly and helpful. Location is fantastic. My room looked over at the ferry Dock so from room to Central Station was 15 minutes on free ferry. The room was box standard. Small TV. No kettle. Bathroom was like an aircraft or train. Any other hotel and I would have been upset by this but it is a ship so hey ho. I WILL be returning to the Botel next year.

I loved the stay. The rooms are very small but clean, cozy and have everything that is needed. The location is nice, it's super easy to get there from the Central station. Staff was really kind. The views from the rooms are also enjoyable. For the cheap price it is a perfect place to stay.

Rooms are small, but functional. Staff are lovely, very relaxed atmosphere. The ferry is regular and easy to use. The bar area upstairs (not finished when we were there) is lovely. My photos show the view from there at night. Beware though.... It was unusually HOT when we went, and without air con, sleep is impossible. They provide fans for a €10 deposit though. I don't think the weather would ordinarily be a problem though. I would recommend and go back there.

We stayed here for one night. Right next to the ferry terminal and so easy and quick within minutes in the city center. Check in was quick and staff very friendly. Don’t expect a 4* Hotel - it’s a boat! Rooms were clean, beds were comfy. All good!

Considering this was a cheap hotel choice I was very surprised and satisfied with the facilities.
It's everything you would need for a short city trip.
One constructive comment, the hot water in the shower takes no prisoners 😂 just make sure you've adjusted the temperature before jumping in and you're sure you have a great stay.

This place was fantastic for the price! It's about a 10 minute ferry to the center of the city and the ferry is free so that saved a lot. The rooms are basic but clean and a very comfortable bed. The bedroom was nothing special but did what bathrooms are meant for. Will easily be booking a room here next time I visit the city!

The location of the hotel may seem weird at first but the regular (free) ferry makes it very easy to get to. In addition it's in a really unique setup and is very quiet, plus offers a great view. The rooms and quality is pretty decent for a 3 star and prices are reasonable. The breakfast is tasty, of somewhat limited. The room service and personnel are friendly and efficient. Overall a very good and unique budget option to stay in Amsterdam.

The room is basic but comfortable.

The shower had little spread but good pressure and temp. Be careful with the mixer, the hot water is bloody hot! I didn't burn myself but I got that water turning to steam smell before jumping out and adjusting.

The view was lovely and calming as was the motion of the boat, I slept well. The upper deck chill out area was comfy and it's nice to have an area to relax in the fresh air.

The breakfast buffet was decent. Hot and cold selection with proper crispy bacon and hard boiled eggs which weren't dry.

This is a great facility with very easy access to the city centre. The rooms were comfortable enough and there was a large included breakfast and water views from every room. The only thing you have to be aware of is it is a converted boat, of course, so the rooms are cramped and the bathroom is the size of a cupboard, but I think you'd have to expect that. It's a quirky place.

This hotel captures a vibe that cannot be created, the staff are absolutely fantastic, the breakfast is decent and location is great. Me and my girlfriend used to really enjoy stopping for a coffee at the shop opposite the dock and catching our morning boat into central. It gave us chance to plan and chat about the day ahead while the returning boat allowed us to peacefully reflect on the everything we have experienced.

The beds are very comfy and while the rooms may seem dated they are more than adequate. I would highly recommend this boat to everybody. It's quirky, it's got character and it's great value for money.

It was a pleasant stay. Rooms were comfortable and breakfast was good. The kitchen was nice to help heat up our store bought dinner due to the 5pm lockdown in Amsterdam. Location is good and it was a good experience!
