Super cute store with sales and a nice selection of books. A lot of poetry, feminism and fiction 💕 and cat themed 🐱 (bags and books)

So many choices of wonderful English books! I'm always excited to go to Waterstones because I know that I will find what I need. It would be great to have a few chairs to read a few pages before buying.

Was very pleasantly surprised to discover a Waterstones in Amsterdam. Really good selection of books and they usually have a nice deal where you can buy 2 books and get 50% off of the second one. Definitely worth it to stop by!

This bookstore is amazing! It has several floors (4 or 5, I don't remember correctly) with various genres.
The organization is exquisite and it's really easy to browse to find the category we're looking for.

I loved it and I will most definitely make regular visits when in Amsterdam.

With its many floor and pretty editions, it is definitely a delight for book lovers. Many sections and topics, however the comic section is a bit lacking (but like most bookshops in the Netherlands).
It has some nice spots to sit down and relax, but during the weekend is too busy with tourists and people in general.
They also have an app where you can collect points when you buy things.
Outside there is a very pretty flower shop, mainly dry lavander or decorative flowers. This is not book related but I think it adds something extra enchanting to this bookshop.

A magical place. Enormous selection of books of any category and preference. Always something new to find, but don't worry - all the great authors are always there too! It's a real gem on a busy Kalverstraat

This a wonderful place to browse for books of all kind in four or five floors (sorry, we didn't buy one this time). I enjoyed the atmosphere.

Literally the best store in town. I love the incredibly helpful staff and their book collection is amazing. Whenever I am at Waterstones I feel at ease. I recommend going on weekdays between 11-15 as it’s not as busy during those hours!

A dleightful bookstore in the center of Amsterdam!! I love looking at their colorful shelves. The bookstore is very big and well-organized across 4 floors. The staff is also very lovely and helpful!

Nice English book store. With four floors , different genres , souveniers, board games, notebooks. There is a big section of fantasy. There is a small section with mangas, another with comics, Harry Potter merchandising, Language books, dictionaries, cooking, gardering.

Great place to stop for books in English. I lost track of time but gained a lot of information of authors and books/ series just browsing the various shelves. A airy well lit library in the middle of Kalverstraat.

I have known the store for many years. The basement floor is where all the action is, featuring a large section for kids. The top floor houses a small coffee house with seats overlooking Trafalgar Square. This place has a certain charm to it.

Quite good placement and naming of sections. Easy to navigate. But again have collections of popular books only. So if you want to read unpopular opinions it is not the place to go...

Absolutely lovely bookstore, from current booka to classics and special editions. A must visit for everyone
