I had quite a nice experience while having a haircut. I have a curly hair and I wanted bangs and shorten my hair. Omer was very professional and treated my hair very carefully. Although curly hair bangs is quite tricky, he handled it very well. Like Omer, Hulya was also very nice and friendly.

I highly recommend him! 💯 Finding a skilled hairdresser can be challenging, especially for expats like me. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found him in the NL!

First things first, Omer is hands down the best hairdresser in town. He's not just skilled, but he's also super friendly and easy to chat with. I felt like I was catching up with an old friend while he worked his magic on my hair.

The salon itself has a cozy vibe, which immediately put me at ease.

Omer took the time to really understand what I wanted, and the end result was beyond my expectations. I walked out feeling like a million bucks with a fresh, stylish haircut that turned heads everywhere I went.

The barbers at Kapperstime are very pleasant and do a great job. I got my hair done before a wedding and it looked perfect, AND it lasted all night! Very much so worth the price (which is extremely reasonable). They were timely as well. If I’m ever back in Amsterdam, I will be sure to go to them for a hair cut/blow dry.

Kapperstime was recommended by my lovely step-daughter Kim as I’m from out of town (Sydney, Australia). I wanted a complete change from long to short hair, but was a little nervous. Hairdresser Yuri, who had run his own salon in Verona for 20 years, did the most beautiful, careful job. I walked into the salon with a tired old layered bob and walked out with a fresh, cute and playful cut. I’m ecstatic! And feel New Year, new me! The only problem is, I’ll have to fly to Amsterdam every time I want my hair cut! I’ll be back. Thank you Yuri and Kapperstime, and may 2020 be everything you wish for. I love my haircut!

Very best hairdressers in town. They helped me many many times with my messed up self experiments both with dyeing and cutting. Their entire team is top notch. All my friends I recommended them too agreed as well.

The hair dressers really know what they are doing! I got a full explanation on why what style works best with my hair & I am super happy with the result ! Now finally I can wear my natural curls & style it easily at home without much effort with my hair being healthy.

I always like going to Kapperstime. The people are lovely, and they always know how to cut my curly hair (and trust me, it's not always the case). I always get out of there feeling fabulous!
To sum up: I just moved to Zaandam, but I still go to Amsterdam to get my hair cut.

I got my haircut about a year ago here, and one year later, I’m making a 1 hour trip to go back. I was left extremely impressed with the professionalism of this hair salon. The owner Omer was extremely friendly and accommodating. He washed my hair thoroughly. Then Melek cut my hair with much thought into detail. She left it beautiful, shiny and voluminous. I’m excited to go back this weekend!

Also, this is the first review I’ve ever given a hair salon. Most hair salons I’ve been to always do something to my hair that disappoints me, but at KappersTime I don’t have to worry about that.
