- cake: chocolate cake was good!
- capuccino and flat white: good! And not too expensive

A true hidden gem in Amsterdam - it’s rare such a thoughtful place exists smack dab centre of the city without feeling like another business grub. Droog is a passionate place filled with a passionate staff. The gallery downstairs is a welcoming space - one that pushes creativity, while the cafe upstairs is a delightful spot to relax and enjoy a playful menu. I got the blue butterfly pea tea - it was delicious and can’t want to go back to try more!

Very interesting place. The downstairs is a mix of gallery and working area. Upstairs is the cafe and they serve you fresh local food. Although the food wasn’t anything crazy, it was still tasty and worth experiencing it. Kind and friendly staff.

This cafe is part of many venues and spaces that host art galleries, pop up shops and many more. It is situated in one of five historic buildings. The cafe is very bright, elegant and spacious. Good to enjoy your afternoon coffee.

Always such an amazing experience to visit droog! Such a beautiful atmosphere and an amazing working/studying place also. House employees is always so kind and nice as well, if you’re looking for a place to have some good time and some nice food definitely drop by!

The space is gorgeous, nice atmosphere, the staff is very friendly, coffee was excellent. The food menu is not very large, food was ok. Easy to reserve online.

Such an unexpected pretty place! I passed it quite often on my way to university and never thought much of it. However, it is great! The restaurant upstairs is very spacious and has some funky decor, but the best part is that they have an interior garden where you can have your coffee or food. The tuna melt sandwich was just perfect with a considerable amount of tuna and cheese. Totally worth the price. The iced latte was also good, but only after asking for some/more sugar as it had none and was too bitter for my taste. The cool part is that they gave us some liquid to sweeten our drinks, rather than regular sugar. I couldn’t quite place it, but it was tasty.

A place with a soul...

Literally one of my favorite places in Amsterdam.The cafe is very cozy and makes you feel like home. The place is good for a cup of coffee in the green garden or for a lunch or dinner with friends. The food is tasty and the music is not too loud, so you can actually have a human conversation without having to scream. The interior is amazing, with reproductions of Banksy and Rembrandt and of course the unique style of Droog. The service is very good and the guys have really taken all necessary corona measures.

And there is more to that amazing place. Droog is not only a cafe, it is a platform for events, with several conference rooms in different artistic styles. And... my favorite cherry on top is the one bedroom apartment... If you are planning to stay in Amsterdam I definitely recommend staying at Droog. You will be in the middle of Amsterdam with walking distance to all the tourist attractions. At the same time you will be able to enjoy the peace and serenity of a home. Droog is not a typical hotel, you won't have a 24 hours reception and you won't bump into other tourists. After the cafe closes (at 7pm on weekdays) you will have the place to yourself. It's an amazing experience that gives you the feeling of being one of the locals. At the same time you get to enjoy all the extra's of a hotel like a cleaning service and an amazing breakfast. The apartment itself is very spacious. It's larger than most hotel rooms and even larger than many one-bedroom apartments you will find in Amsterdam. The interior is very hip and the bathroom is amazing! The bathtub is a dream!

I would say, try, experience and fall in love!

The pastries are house-made and to die for, you have to try their avocado cake!
Love the atmosphere of the cafe too, there’s beautiful art to look at while sipping your drink. The staff is friendly!

A unique design store with a cafe and a whimsical garden made of natural and artificial design elements, located in the centre of Amsterdam. The club droog sandwich is a must-try for those who have a good appetite (it’s huge) :)
