Hotel Restaurant Brass

Excellent experience. The proprietor was very gracious and accommodating. He even arranged to get us entry tickets for the beer festival just outside of the hotel!

5 stars for the restaurant. The 4 course menu with half glass wine pairing was a true culinary adventure.

Had the 5 course surprise menu with several matching wines, food and wine pairing was very good and the staff very knowledgeable about both the food and the wine. Great range of flavours, ingredients and textures, especially given that the 5 course menu is priced at around 50 euro's.

Covid-19 measures weren't followed strictly if at all, this was a bit surprising.

Highly recommended for their warm, inviting atmosphere and amazing tasting menu. Great stories behind the dishes and you won’t regret a visit if you’re out of town! Call for a reservation, as it can get busy quick. Always a good decision :)

We did the surprise 3 course menu and loved it. The complimenting wine for each course was absolutely bang on. Service / staff were excellent throughout and we’ll definitely be coming back.

Tasty food with a story behind.
This time we chose the "verrassing” menu.
It works like that :
You tell them what you prefer and what you don't like( raw or deep cook, allergies or things to avoid) and the Chef comes with a surprise menu. You don't know what you are going to eat before you get the plate.
It feels like home and you can have a nice time in the hearth of Utrecht.
Tip: if you want some privacy in the hot busy summer days you can have a cozy place indoor ( almost empty and looks great)

Great food

Mooie ruime kamers, schoon en prima ingericht. Bed was goed. Badkamertje een beetje krap maar prima. Geen ontbijt op zondag maar genoeg opties in de buurt. Aan druk uitgaansplein dus je hoort wel wat van het geroezemoes buiten maar de dubbele ramen houden het meeste geluid wel tegen.
