Citiez Hotel Amsterdam

We loved the location. Very easy to catch tram 17 into the city and 369 bus to and from the airport. The room was very clean and comfortable and a decent size for us. Would definitely stay there again if I returned to Amsterdam. We didn't have breakfast, but it looked like a decent selection. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Never write reviews ever but I feel compelled to tell everyone just how amazing this hotel was. It was my first solo trip (later joined by my partner) and the hotel showed nothing but comfort and welcome. The staff are all so lovely and funny people. Gave us board games to play with and even joined us, an all day open cafe which is just great. The room was perfect for simply just sleeping, with your own bathroom and shower. The rooms smell clean and look clean, the bed was soo comfy. There is an open space under the bed for your bags and luggage. There is an elevator as well to the hotel rooms. Hotel gets 10/10 and I’ll definitely pick it again when the time comes! Price was more than reasonable! Besides both the airport and the city are just 20 mins away from the hotel. Nearest station just 4 mins away.

Small room, no wider than the bed, but it has everything needed for an overnight stay. The front desk attendant was friendly and helpful. It's about a 15 minute drive to the airport so it's very convenient if you have an early flight.

We stayed for 3 nights in the smaller rooms available, the room was very clean and well presented.
Excellent service and hospitality provided by all staff, however the star of the show was Atila, super positive and upbeat attitude all the time and his coffees are outstanding 😁

Myself and my partner had an amazing stay at this hotel, the room was a good size and very comfortable. The location was perfect as it was quick and easy to travel into the centre of Amsterdam, but also the area itself was lovely had an everything we needed. I cannot fault the staff at this hotel, they provided excellent customer service and were extremely attentive to our every need. We would definitely stay here again upon our return to Amsterdam

Staff are friendly and helpful. There was an issue with the smell of the room we had and we were given a new room right away.

Location is good - surrounded by restaurants, shops and grocery stores. The tram stop (#17) is just behind the hotel and is about 30 mins to central. This hotel also provides free parking and is about 17mins drive to central.

Will stay here again.

We booked a small double room for one night. Small it really is in this case, which was absolutely fit for purpose in our case as we’d travelled to Amsterdam to attend a wedding, so stayed there to sleep only 🙂 The room was spotless and the interior welcoming! The staff is super friendly, be it during the check in or breakfast. The breakfast is in buffet form with plenty of bread, croissants, cheese etc to choose from! We enjoyed our stay, thank you very much for making it that pleasant!

One of the best hotel I've ever stayed at, the staff was amazing; very friendly and always made sure everything was alright so we could enjoy our stay. The room was clean and the location was great, near a tram station and restaurants/stores were around too. I definitely recommend this hotel and we will definitely come back !!

I had such a wonderful stay at this little hotel. The staff is simply amazing! I was very surprised and pleased to meet Juan, who is from Ecuador where I currently reside. He was so very helpful in everything, and I enjoyed being able to practice Spanish with him. Atilla, who worked in the evenings, was so funny and nice. I'm unsure how to spell the names of the lovely ladies who work there, but each and every one of them was super fantastic, as was the gentleman who I think is the manager. I neglected to ask his name, so sorry, but he was very helpful in pointing me to the shop where I could buy a transit pass.

My room was very quiet and warm, despite the cold and rainy days. The bed was comfy, as were the pillows. The breakfast was quite lovely, served from 7 to 11, with a large selection of breads, meats, cheeses, cereals, boiled eggs, pancakes, yogurt, fruit cups, juices, coffees and teas, and I wish I could have stuffed more of it in my tummy. The hotel offers a great selection of beer and other beverages, and they'll even allow you to buy beer elsewhere and put it in their cold case, as the room didn't have a fridge.

The shopping plaza in which the hotel is located is full of great shops and places to eat. The tram stop is just a few steps away, as are bus stops (but I didn't use them). There's a beautiful lake a short walk away, great place for cycling or walking. The lobby area is so comfortable for hanging out having coffee (try the hot chocolate, super) or a drink, chatting with staff, etc. It's available all night long, so if you're a night owl, you'll love it.

It's a bit far from city center, but the tram takes one there easily, if one doesn't mind a 40-minute ride. I enjoyed seeing the sights while on the tram, spotting things I wanted to return to and explore.

There wasn't a closet in the room, but I'd brought my own hangers and had no trouble hanging up all my shirts on the pegs provided. I wish there'd been a little desk where I could use my computer, but I was fine standing and using the platform behind the bed.

Good Evening Firstly I would Like to say Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all.

I have had such an amazing experience for the First Time I have been to Amsterdam and to be honest the Hotel made just part of that experience come True.

Please can I say a massive thank you to all the Hotel Staff to the Reception Team, Catering Team, and Housekeeping team you have all been amazing from the moment I first checked in to the Hotel.

The Room I was staying in was clean and tidy from the beginning to the End and to the House Keeping team Thank you from my understanding they attended to my room 2 x across my Stay.

With regards to my room I could not seem to get my TV to work but to honest I am not to worried about that as I did not seem to know how to work this properly any way and most of my stay was not in my Hotel Room.

Thank you for surprise bottle of Champagne and the lovely decorations in the Glasses.

1 of my light did not work in the bathroom but this did not effect any of my stay at all.

I would like to say thank you to the reception Team also for booking me a Cab to the Airport so I am have a comfortable Trip back to the Airport so I can get back home. The Staff at this hotel and really helpful and friendly and considerate Even down got getting me an envelope so I can safely store my UK SIM card till I get back to the UK.

We can't forget the Breakfast and how amazing the food is especially when this is the most important Meal of the Day so I keep my self Full and not hungry for the day ahead.

Overall I would like to say Thank you again for such an amazing stay and i will definitely will be returning to this Hotel in the near future and to explore the things in Amsterdam I did not get time to see till next year 2024.

Just what you need for a short stay. If you plan only to sleep there it’s perfect. Staff is very friendly. Room is small as expected. Clean and tidy. Alright location, lots of shops and restaurants close by and a coffeeshop. With the tram 20 min into the center. Would reccomend and come again.

This place is dope. I'd defo stay here again.

The staff are super friendly, the atmosphere is spot on, and the location is decent, it's a bit ghetto but I like that and it's just a short tram ride to Centraal Station

Excellent hotel with friendly and very helpful staff. Tram just round the corner takes you right into the centre of Amsterdam. Bus to airport only a couple of minutes walk.

Clean, easy access to the center,#17 , good breakfast, each room named after a city in Europe, good service, quiet,a lot of stores

We arrived at Citiez hotel to a very warm welcome. The hotel is located in a shopping area so great place to get anything else you need.
The reception has a bar area with a range of beers and wines in a cosy atmosphere.
Our room was compact but had everything we needed for a short stay city break and each room was named after a city - ours was Vienna.
We had the breakfast downstairs the next morning and that hit the mark with a good range of options.
The tram stop to get in to central Amsterdam was less than a minutes walk and that made getting in to town so easy!
Above all what struck us most about this place was the staff, each one spoke good English and could not do enough to help.
We would definitely use this hotel again for our next stay in Amsterdam!

Great location, just about 15-20 minutes by public bus from Schiphol Airport and then a 5 minute walk. The room was very clean and efficient, even though it was not very large it served the purpose for 1 night. The staff at the hotel was very helpful and assisted me with a lost item at the airport. Thanks for all the support

The staff welcomed us very friendly and they’re multingual. Communicating in English is no problem if you don’t know Dutch. It’s located directly at the Tram station Oostdorp West which you can directly reach eather from the Centraal Station or from Slotherdijk. If you’re coming from Sloterdijk you have to take the metro to Lelylaan and then change to tram 17. If you come from Centraal you can directly take the tram 17. One of the employees told us to take the tram to Leidseplein. From there you can directly walk into the city towards Centraal with the beautiful streets and all the Grachten ( canals). The hotel is in the middle of a commercial area with lots of shops, also 2 supermarkets such as Albert Heijn and Lidl aa well as lots of Halal food options. Very very recommended. The rooms are very cozy and clean and the amenities are really good. You even have your own capsule coffee machine so that you can have even a nice cuppa in the comfort of your own room.

Absolutely amazing hotel!! Can’t fault it, it’s in a perfect little town and the staff are amazing really friendly 👍🏻
