I stayed here for several days in the winter time. I got an amazing room facing the canal and the street with tram lines. The front desk people were friendly and helpful to me.

Stayed here for two nights as it was close to a business meeting in Amsterdam. A great Amsterdam experience with canal views and a buzzing street life outside, especially on a very warm Friday evening. The staff were friendly and very accommodating - I had to meet a couple of colleagues and they found a space for us to catch up. The rooms were very comfortable - what I'd expect from a hotel in the old part of Amsterdam. Would definitely stay again - either for business or personal.

Fabulous hotel. Service was second to none. We had a beautiful view of the Prinzengracht from our room as well. Location was fantastic for both walking and catching the tram.

This property is in the ideal location. The staff were incredibly helpful and wonderful to deal with (especially Raffi). The rooms were clean and comfortable. Highly recommend the breakfast - so many delicious options (and customizable too!).

The current work on the canal is loud and a little frustrating and makes for some travel pick up and drop offs inconvenient. The rooms are a little tired looking and could do with a little freshening up.

Well located hotel with a walking distance to main Amsterdam attractions like Anne Frank House and Royal Palace. Great service, homey atmosphere and cosy rooms.

One of the best hotels I have stayed at in a long time! From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and made us feel at home. The owner, Gencer, went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home and welcome throughout our stay, and gave us tips and suggestions for nearby attractions. The hotel was very hygienic and safe, which gave us peace of mind. The location is close to all major tourist attractions, making it easy to walk to pubs, clubs, museums and cafes. The rooms were superb, providing a perfect blend of comfort and luxury, with beautiful views of the city. The breakfast was very fresh and tasty. It was a great experience to stay in this cute and perfect located hotel. We felt so safe and comfortable with our little kids. If I go to Amsterdam again, for sure I will choose this hotel.

Great Service! We loved to stay there, especially the view over Amsterdam City from the balcony of the 5th floor was stunning! Everything was fresh dished up at the breaktfast. Nothing to complain, well done by the talented management!!

Great location and staff were lovely. We were on the top floor so no lift for the last floor and the stairs are a little scary! Worth it though

We enjoyed this hotel especially because of the location and the helpfulness of the staff. Everyone at the desk went out of there way to be friendly and helpful. The hotel is centrally located, right by a tram line and canal, but quiet.

We are a family of 4, the room was very spacious with view of the canal. Love it. We booked the superior twin room. Location is very central, tram stop is right in front of the hotel. A lot of food options around the area.

Breakfast was basic but lovely! My 2 little girls loved the fresh made dutch pancakes.

Thank you too to Ruud our driver/guide for our trip, Rudd’s taxi company partners with the hotel. Very accommodative, punctual, provide good suggestions of route & places. Reasonably priced and upfront with the cost, removes the stress out of our holiday to make sure we don’t cheated on taxi prices etc.

The only thing to be aware for light sleepers - at night it can be a little noisy from the people talking on the nice lively street below (not like loud music or anything like that) but it was not an issue for us at all.

OMG. Bruno and his colleagues, in all honesty made us feel like family, every time we returned from our day/evening of exploring Amsterdam and beyond. You're RIGHT in the thick of the action, but you wouldn't know. Our room was super quiet. AND there's a tram RIGHT outside.Bruno and his colleagues were SO helpful with tips and suggestions on navigating the controlled chaos that is Amsterdam.This is our second stay at this hotel, and I gotta tell ya, it will NOT be out last.Seriously, we felt like family. THANK YOU ALL! (and forgive my brain for not remembering all your names. I'm blaming the jet lag)

We came to Amsterdam for a short weekend with a family (3 and 5 y.o) and stayed at Dikker & Thijs hotel. Of course there are many great options in Amsterdam for your stay, but we were very happy with the selection. While the hotel looks kind of old, I guess it’s a norm for European cities, the room was super clean, the room was spacious (I think they call it superior) and did fit all 4 of us, very bright with lots of windows and tall ceilings, and a beautiful view. The beds ver comfortable and it has nice noise isolation. It was direct tram ride, 10 minutes to Amsterdam central train station (or about 25-30 min walk). Location is also perfect with lots of restaurants around.

Absolutely amazing hotel! We stayed there for 5 nights and loved it! Our room was beautifully designed & furnished, it was specious, cosy and had everything we needed. The bathroom was huge! We stayed on the 5th floor and our big windows had an access to the rooftop, so it was like having our own small private balcony. And I guess you can’t ask for a more central location. We had every type of restaurant right outside, plus the beautiful canals and the tram. And the stuff was lovely! Super recommend hotel! Great value for money!

The breakfast is really good (one of the best I had in a hotel) ! We stayed there for a business trip, the room is a bit old-fashion but it was nice. Great location and really good customers service !

We enjoyed our stay here! The room was big and the location was perfect. It was centrally located and near many activities + attractions. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Hotel was very nicely located overlooking the canal. Room was surprisingly spacious (spacious being a relative term since we just got off a ship). Staff was very professional, provided great suggestions for restaurants and gave great directions for the sites we wanted. They loaned us an adapter for the electric service as well as a converter. Overall, very pleased with the hotel, with the highlight being the third floor canal view.

The stay at the hotel was a present for my husband's birthday. At arrival the reception male staff acknowledged purpose of visiting and wished my husband happy birthday, and we found a small present in the room along with a greeting card. Our room was upgraded to a room with a view over the canal. Our room was beautiful, clean and everything was the way it should be. I couldn't find any faults, everything was perfect with our stay! We are grateful to the staff for spoiling us and making our stay memorable!
