Hotel Arena

My favourite hotel in Amsterdam! Decoration and atmosphere is so comforting and welcoming the room is perfect clean new and comfortable. The check-in experience is so smooth everything is doable through the phone. No friction. There’s plenty of space in the hotel to do some work and the Internet is super fast! The staff is always smiling and here to help!

Beautiful 150 (+/-) year old hotel. Rooms were spacious with 20 foot ceilings and large windows that opened to the fabulous Amserdam spring breeze. Our room faced a lovely courtyard. Quiet but close to museums and main artery trolleys. Beautiful park attached to hotel and good restaurant with outdoor seating and firepit.

Lovely hotel at the edge of a beautiful park. Metro, tram, bus easily available and they take you to the centre in minutes and there is a lovely, lively beer garden in less than 10 minutes walk🍻 Will come back again😉

The bedsheed wasnt that clean, had a strain on it. After the roomservice it was the same sheet. that was pretty pathetic but we didnt demand a new one. The placement in the oosterpark is amazing for a shy smoke if you know ;) The team is helpful aswell as friendly. The old orphanage is amazing.
and our shower was leaking through so we put a towel on the ground.

Giulia and Jente did a great job. Lovely service and they were really amazing. The realm in the restaurant was truly amazing. Would love to comeback sometimes, love the place!

Value for money - very high (you get a lot for what you pay). Super friendly staff, amazing restaurant and really nice ambience. Unique two story room.

Stayed here recently when visiting Amsterdam for the first time, I don't think I'd want to stay anywhere else 😊

Location is great, there are two tram stops about 8/11 mins away so you can get to everywhere easily, which is great when you're a tourist. The park the hotel faces is also beautiful.

The building itself is stunning but eery, but don't let that put you off as nothing supernatural happened to us 🤣 beds were super comfy and really appreciated that each time our room was serviced they gave us free water and new coffee pods 😊

I loved the property and the fact that it’s not very close to central dum square made the experience to explore the city amazing.

Outstanding food & service.

Great design everywhere, although very steep staircases to either the seating or sleeping areas in the standard bedrooms. Don’t bring elderly relatives with you unless you’ve asked to avoid one of these room layouts!

Easy to get the tram into central areas of the city.

Love hotel arena, fantastic spacious rooms, great service and food. The park just outside is wonderful for a morning run! I can highly recommend this hotel for business or pleasure.

Spacious, light and well designed rooms, halls and hallways. Wonderful location at the Oosterpark, just outside the overcrowded center of the city. A beautiful terras for drinks and good, simple food on the park. Convenient public transport. Very reasonably priced. Real value for your money.

The hotel was really good with very friendly staff. It's one of the prettiest hotels I've visited ever with the refurbishments that went on. The two-floored room I was in was clean and comfortable though I have to say that if you're on the obese side, you may struggle to get up the stairs to the bed as it's a rather tight squeeze. The list of drinks and food are extensive and not cynically priced like at a lot of big city hotels but this shows awareness of competition from local bars & restaurants. I'd be happy to visit this hotel again when we next visit Amsterdam.

We stayed 10 nights at Hotel Arena. From our check in to our departure all staff from front desk, restaurant and room service were all welcoming and always greeted us with a smile and a chat.
We included the buffet breakfast and that was a great way to start the day with their selection of both hot and cold dishes.
The location we found to be amazing. Located in Oosterpark, it is picturesque and beautiful grounds for a walk or a picnic. Public transport is in close proximity to the museums and central station.

Stylish hotel that's a short walk from a tram stop. Great location in Oost.

Absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Arena. Love the contrast between old and new. Really comfortable and relaxed area. Room was lovely, one of the best beds I’ve slept in! Shower was lovely as well. Love the whole green concept. Restaurant served good food and cocktails. Will definitely be returning again!! Not to far from the city centre, if you was to walk would take about half hour, or Uber for €9. Lots of spaces for meetings so also good for those in business trips and or functions. Would be even better if there was a gym 🫣

Lovely hotel. Everyone was extremely friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable. We had most of our meals at the hotel restaurant and found the breakfast buffet to be especially pleasant. The area that the hotel is located in is quite convenient to the park, shopping, coffee shops, and nearby restaurants.

Hotel is lovely with great transport links but in middle of nowhere with only one shop close to it

I stayed two nights at Hotel Arena, what a great hotel to stay during your visit in Amsterdam. The building is amazing, the location is perfect and the service was super friendly. The prices of food&drinks are very reasonable for a 4star hotel in Amsterdam and the price/quality of the hotel is just super good. Special thanks to Sarah who helped my out during my stay!
