AH Coolsingel

I absolutely love shopping at this Albert Heijn location! The store is conveniently located on Coolsingel, making it easily accessible for me. The staff there is incredibly friendly and always willing to lend a hand or answer any questions I have. The store is well-organized, which makes finding what I need a breeze. I appreciate the wide variety of products they offer, from fresh produce to household items. The quality of the products is consistently good, and I can always count on finding everything on my shopping list. Very nice supermarket, you can find almost everything that you need at good prices, and every week they have offers and sales.

This Albert Heijn has as a plus that a lot of the drinks are cooled. It is a mid sized Albert Heijn, providing well in the lunch area.

I always go here, close to work, and home.
Has tons of products for sale.

The lines may be long when the Self checkout machines are out of order.

A decently sized Albert Heijn supermarket in Coolsingel, Rotterdam just 5 mins walk from Weena area.

Shopped a few times during my week long stay in Rotterdam. Always got what I was looking for.

Do note that store store doesn't accept international Credit Cards. So for people outside Netherlands it is cash only.

Staff, as is usual in Netherlands, is available at checkout area only.

During my visits found only one cash counter manned and that lead to bit of Q.

But self billing counters are enough.

Edit: Store has started accepting International Credit Card. I used my Visa card and it worked well. Diner Card is not acceptable.

This is the only place that would not take my Mastercard. I'm from US and called to let the bank know I'm out of the country.

I just had to write about the young lady at the cash register. Each time she helped me paying cash. Yesi can count but the Euro still is more complex than it looks.

I'm just sorry I didn't get her name so she could be recognized.

Also it's worth a stroll thru to see how different. For hydration I highly recommend the fruit blends along the wall as you walk in.

WOW! I wish English supermarkets were like this! Absolutely amazing produce and shopping experience! Right outside Stadhuis Metro Station so very well connected.

They're neat and clean, quite complete up-to-date with the AH bonus products tags, there's cashier and self payment service but there's not yet mobile hand held scanner. There's also bike parking right in front and also direct access to metro station right in front. Nice place to grocery shopping.

Love this supermarket. Close to public transport and although smaller than a UK store, offered loads of choice.

Very central and always busy but nonetheless everything is always full. The staff is super nice as well. Fruit and vegetables are always fresh and sometimes they have some special offers.

In the center of the city, fast-paced self payment, with a great but not huge/vast variety. Just outside a metro? This is 2 stars for me! I'm sold. If there is an open market in Blaak, prefer to go there for vegetables, though.

Considering this is located in the heart of Rotterdam, we were surprised by the good range, quality and price of the goods.

I visit at least 3 times a week nice location, self checking counters make it easier for fast purchases. Good offers on products.

i ate the ah tiramisu and wow, what an experience. When i put the spoon in the tiramisu it felt really great. Wow, i cant believe i ate this beauty. I never ate something this amazing. Thank u Mr. Heijn, for this amazing tiramisu
