Umei Sushi

Was hesitant since this place had few reviews compared to others.
Ordered a sushi match box
Was very good, very fresh.
Will definitely order again

Best sushi in the town, they use fresh and high-quality ingredients, really delicious, waiting time is short, highly recommend 👍

I always order my sushi from here! I’m an avid sushi eater, and tried multiple places in this area, but this place is the best! The price to quality ratio is great, and they always have the best delivery with a super nice delivery guy! Plus they always give me a free piece of flamed salmon, love it! Overall 10/10

Great go-to place for takeout sushi.
Great prices and good vegetarian options compared to the other two sushi places on the street. Always on time and they usually include a little extra nigiri or sushi for free, maybe because they recognize my order lol

Umei Sushi originally got a bad review from me, which it turns out was for something outside of their control…The Uber Eats driver(s) cancelling and keeping me waiting whilst Umei Sushi have already prepared my order. They could also not reach me due to privacy limitations from Uber Eats.

I will therefore go back to being excited to to order from Umei Sushi and revert back for another review after.

“I was excited to order from Umei Sushi, as I read a number of good reviews and it seemed that the sushi was well priced.
After browsing through the impressive selection of sushi, I selected and ordered a mouthwatering basket.

My order was accepted and I waited for the delivery. After waiting for almost an hour, my order was suddenly cancelled saying my courier ran into an issue. No response when calling also.

If the order was not accepted in the first place, I would have understood, or if something happened whilst busy with the preparation in the first 10-20 minutes and they realised they would not be able to deliver my order…but accepting the order, and then having me wait for an hour, and then cancelling, is just not okay.

I hope to have a better experience next time, but unfortunately I was left very disappointed.”

Go-to sushi order. Excellent selection made with fresh ingredients and to fair prices. I’ve tried almost every sushi spot offering deliveries in Amsterdam and Umei has the best price/quality ratio. They are friendly and always listen to what you write/ask, thank you for that!

Super good quality sushi. Well presented, rice in the perfect point, perfect quantity of Soya, lovely ginger… 10/10. Also, a great gesture from them to gift me extra cucumber maki. I am so happy I finally found my Sushi delivery place in Amsterdam, no need to search through apps again.

We have been ordering regularly since actually day 1 some time ago. Always good and always friendly people, so we prefer to pick up ourselves instead of having it delivered most of the time. Already looking forward to our next order.

Super delicious food. We took menus 1 and 2 with my wife and we had a great sushi experience. Would highly recommend. Super nice couple owners. Very friendly. They even gave us free extras
