Harald was genuinely so nice in helping us wrap a small purchase on a rainy day. He made sure it was covered so the water didn't ruin our precious find! A gentleman and very pleasant to talk with. The store itself is a wonderful find and experience. Highly recommended!

If possible, I prefer to give 6 stars. is a candy shop for all antiques lovers and tourist, when you cross by, ring the bell, spend few time here, you will found out what I meant.

Looks can be deceiving; Such is the case with Prinsheerlijk Antiques. Located in a former 19th century cookie factory, its small entrance on Prinsengracht canal gives no idea as to the space inside. There is room after room packed with antiques and architectural salvage covering some 550 square meters.

This place is full of surprises and you never know what you are going to find. They once even had a small air-plane from the turn of the 20th century. Here you can discover a variety of old costumes, armoury and weapons, books, doors, antique prams, beds, chandeliers, jewellery, suitcases and trunks, paintings and prints, vintage kitchen items, clocks and watches, furniture in all shapes and sizes, fire places, lighting, objets d'art, statues and ornaments, silverware, mirrors, textiles and other collectables.

At the rear of the premises is a bargain corner, jokingly referred to a a mini Waterlooplein. Prinsheerlijk Antiques specialises in salvage items making it a popular hunting ground for renovators of monumental buildings. They are the largest source of antiques and decorative objects in the centre of Amsterdam. The store has its own workshop where items can be restored and refurbished. Items of all sizes can be shipped internationally. In many ways, the store is just like a museum and is well worth a visit just to see its collection of many weird, wonderful and stunning items.

I Have many wonderful items from this shop from large cabinets to candlesticks and everything in between. There is a large selection of treasures to choose from.

Zeer authentieke antiekzaak, het pand zelf is ook antiek, lekker nog in de oorspronkelijke staat zoals het in mijn ogen ook hoort te zijn.
Je ruikt de historie van het pand en de spullen die in overvloed staan te wachten op een nieuwe eigenaar. Van antiek heb ik geen verstand en van prijzen ook niet maar afdingen kan iedereen. Zelf ben in ik geen verzamelaar maar mijn familielid uit Canada is dat wel, die ging de deur uit met een mooi zilveren foto lijstje, hij had er ook een bestemming voor. Kortom bezoek deze zaak in hartje Mokum, de stad waar ik ben getogen maar gelukkig al 32 jaar niet meer woon.
Het is dat m'n familie Mokum wilde aan doen maar van mij was het op wat antiekzaken na een moetje.

Nee te duur ik heb zelfs een bangstel gekocht twedehands met ver voer €200.dat is goed koop en nu wacht ik op de salontafel ook antiek 30 en bezorgen €42 dat is ook goed daar kom ik in de winkel niet klaar het is wel twedehands maar goed marktplaats.
