Esther's Cookery

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely cookery in the heart of Amsterdam. We visited Esther's as a team building event and what and experience. The service is unmatched! The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best meal we had. Highly recommend!

I attended a cooking class here as part of a team building evening. My goodness, the food was SO delicious and flavorful. The recipes were also pretty easy and gave me confidence that I can do this at home. best of all was Esther's hospitality, wit and passion for food. Would love to do this activity again, with friends, colleagues or family. It was such a fun time of bonding over food.

It was a great cooking workshop and dinner experience with Esther! Based on my request they offered us a fully vegan menu and every single dish that we prepared tasted amazing! Highly recommended for group events!

Such an amazing fun afternoon cooking at Esther’s cookery with Karin and Jenny. Great dishes, great instructions form a place of both deep knowledge, humility and love of sharing, and great company. What a feast too.. Amazing everybody can take the left overs home since this is food fit for a king and enough for an army. My favorite was the spicy peanut tofu, but it was such a plethora of amazing vegan and vegetarian options that it’s hard to pick one. The funny eggplant donuts were also so amazing and we had such fun conversations, the time just flew by. Would highly recommend this and will definitely have to come back. Esther just has such amazing recipes.

I gave Esther‘s cooking class as a birthday gift to my wife and we had the very best time. Esther was very responsive via email to how the whole process worked and we had an amazing time. The food was amazing, Esther herself was a delight & we had just an amazing time with a table of strangers. Highly recommend & looking forward to trying what we learned at home. Highly recommend!

Most delicious food and the loveliest warming place. Esther is amazing in explaining everything. You immediately feel welcome and at home and we had an amazing experience as a team! Will definitely come back :)

I was looking forward to this cooking class since I opened my Christmas gift months ago and it definitely exceeded my expectations!
I discovered all kinds of new flavours and dishes (still dreaming about that babaganoush) and went home with a love-filled stomach and a very happy feeling. ☺

Last but not least, no food waste at Esther’s Cookery ,you can even bring home the #leftovers! ♻

I thoroughly enjoyed Esther’s cookery event. I’m a vegetarian and have been practically all my life, and I was very impressed with how flavorful and refreshing Esther’s recipes are. The welcoming environment and Esther’s authenticity made the event memorable for me. She and her staff were very welcoming, had a great sense of humor and made the cooking experience one to remember!

Brilliant experience! Am a student at the moment, and have discovered a whole new kitchen and tons of recipes to make use of during my long days! Made a spicy shakshuka with tahin during the workshop, and when I got back to my student house tonight I made a big batch of it to feed me the coming week!

I highly recommend the Cookery, both for buying niche and stellar quality culinary ingredients or products to use at home and for a cooking workshop. Esther's bubbly personality and her expertise will make you feel at ease, ready to take on a delicious recipe made with the highest quality products.

This is a great place to spend some quality time with your friends/team and cook some delicious food and eat it too.

She grows the vegetables in the garden so they're quite fresh and organic. There were all sorts of different ingredients that we could use. The recepies were easy because she had clearly written down everything and carefully chosen the dishes.

We had a great time. And the best part about it was having the delicious food.

Last evening at The Kitchen Workshop, We grilled the most delicious food and had loads of laughs while doing it. Esther was a great host, The menus are delicious and we love the hands on participation. Esther's cookery was absolutely amazing, definitely recommended !!

Oh what fun! I had 9 guys for my birthday and it was a huge success. Cooking was fun, we learned new tricks and new recipes, and ate and drank like kings. Esther is a riot. Everything is possible. Magically out of chaos and cacophony comes a perfect 10 course meal. Highly recommended!

Absolutely lovely experience, throughout the class I learnt how to prepare vegetables in a way I would have never thought of myself. These ways gave them up such a different flavors I have never thought they might have. Learning to cook with such a passionate person like Esther is a pure pleasure. Worth every penny, 10/10 I recommend this place

I found the cookery workshop to be great fun. We made perhaps fifteen dishes between us in a group of twelve and then ate together. All of the dishes were vegetarian and flavourful - strongly inspired by Ottolenghi-style cookery and incorporating a range of (chiefly Middle Eastern) ingredients.

Esther is a charismatic and entertaining host. I'd actually also recommend this experience as an alternative to going out to a nice restaurant some time.
