Fantastic apartment-hotel;
Beautiful rooms. Design is so nice.
Very nice atmosphere throughout the whole hotel.
Last but not least: Very nice staff and very good service.
We will come back again!

Excellent stop for tourists to stay a few nights. The staff that helped us spoke excellent English and were very helpful, and answered all questions. The breakfast is quite nice as they can bring it up to your room at a time you specify between 7 and 11AM, and it's a large platter of assorted breakfast foods (egg, bread with butter and jam, cheese, meat). Room was very well appointed and decorated, and has a fridge, cabinets, set of dishware and silverware, small table for dinners and a couch. Our room had two large beds with one in its own private room.

This boutique hotel went above our expectations. The photos don't do it justice -- the real deal was amazing. We so much enjoyed staying here and I hope we will return one day. The staff at the front desk were so helpful; the cleaning folks were super friendly and efficient; we didn't eat the breakfast so don't know about that; the room was really very comfortable and Super Quiet. We love quiet and these rooms were like solid chambers. A great experience that made us love Amsterdam more.

The room was big and comfortable and we loved the fact that there was a fully equipped kitchen, so we could shop in the grocery store and cook in our
room. We also enjoyed the Sauna (which you can book and is private)
The overall service was excellent, everyone was super helpful and nice. Will definitely come back again.
The only downside is perhaps the fact that it is a bit outside of the city center, but still, it is super easy to get around with public transportation, so we actually enjoyed the quiet environment. Very recommended!

The hotel rooms are very spacious and comfortable with easy transportation to any place in town and airport. The staff is very professional and polite. The hotel paid attention to every small detail that makes you feel at home and the free drinks and chocolates is a nice touch.. I highly recommend staying at this property..

My husband and I booked the July and Twenty Eight for a romantic birthday break for 5 nights and we had an absolutely fabulous stay. The staff are welcoming, friendly and check in was easy and smooth. The room was as clean, comfortable and modern as expected and as photos show. Nice selection of books available to peruse.

The kitchen has everything you need for a short or long stay, including a coffee machine [beware the ristretto is rocket fuel!] dishwasher and proper oven and hob set with all cooking equipment included. The sofa is super cosy, perfect for two people to stretch out. The bed is massive, duvet crunchy in the best way and pillows were next level, I definitely want this set up at home!

We had room 326 and it was really cosy being able to sit up in bed and look out the window at the lights from trams and cars going past at night :) Loads of storage space so it was easy to keep the room looking nice and tidy, the cupboards were chaos inside but plenty of room for everything.

Peace and quiet is paramount for us when we stay somewhere, and this hotel has gone to great effort to ensure that its easy to stay quiet late at night and early in the morning with a little extra consideration [which luckily, the large majority of residents in this hotel were able to manage].

The room doors can close softly from both sides, as do the wardrobe doors, loo seats, fridge [with a little extra effort], oven and even the breakfast bar stools we couldn't drag noisily! The soundproofing from the windows was also very effective stopping any traffic noise.

There is a tram stop just a few steps across the road and we usually took the 24 into Frederijksplein and walked 15m onto Rembrantplein where there are connections to centraal station. There are a whole load of buses that stop outside the hotel too but we stuck with the tram for novelty value.

I'm not sure how the staff knew it was my birthday but it was very sweet that they left me a handwritten card and a voucher for some delicious local cupcakes outside our room, thoughtful and lovely.

We didn't have breakfast while we were there but we took advantage of the coffee machine and milk frother in the lounge, was super happy to see oat milk barista available too :) We didn't spend much time in the lounge but it was warm and cosily lit with stylish and comfortable furniture.

Thank you to everyone at the July who made our stay so comfortable and welcoming, when we next visit Amsterdam we will be back xo

Wow, wow, wow. This place is absolutely amazing.

Let's start with the room:
Most of what I needed for a suite style room was included. Well thought out, well laid out and comfortable. The sofa and bed were extremely comfortable.

The kitchen area was great, we prepared a few meals in the room and it was painless as the only thing missing from the items was a wine bottle opener!

The swivel TV was a stroke of genius. Faces the lounge when watching from the sofa to spin around when watch TV from the bed.

The bathroom was lovely. All shampoo/conditioner/body wash was present and was actually very nice to use.

My only criticism of the bathroom were the towels. Whilst there was enough of them, they were all puny ;) Needed some lovely big towels to wrap around after a lovely hot shower from a cold day in Amsterdam.

Now to the staff:
Wow, a group of consummate professionals, polite, personable team that could not do enough to make your stay as welcome as possible. Kudos team, you are all amazing.

To the designed of the uniforms - More Kudos, it really worked for Amsterdam and the theme of the hotel. Give yourself a huge pat on the back.

I have to call out Melinda (Hope I remember her name correctly). This is a lady that despite huge obstacles in her way, powered through them all and got things done. She was fantastic in every way. I was accidentally witness to a difficult customer and I was seriously impressed with the way that Melinda dealt with both the situation and the customer. The customer was eating humble pie and warmed to her strength of conviction by the end. This could have gone very wrong, but it was a testament to her professional, unwavering customer satisfaction that led to the best outcome - Happy customer - Happy hotel.

Overall:
If you are staying in Amsterdam and need a suite as opposed to a room, look no further, this place is fantastic, not just because of the rooms, but the staff that run it.

Local area:
Plenty in the area to go out and get some food from resturants and the like. Nothing too high end here, but more than enough for a casual evening meal or lunch. The hotel has a number of recommendations that we used and all was good.

Beware! There are two exceptional bakeries in the area, 5/10 min walk that will destroy any diet or will you have to not eat such wonderful food. I completely over ordered and over ate. It was not possible to not over order and eat, it was heaven.

Travel: Dont take a Taxi to get here from the airport, it costs about 50 euros for a 6 mile trip. We used the train on the way from the airport to the closest train station with a 15 min walk to the hotel. It was 6 mins on the train.

Getting back to the airport, the alternative is the bus, which cost 3 euros. The staff know the area very well and it also has great public transport links due to the Olympic village being next door to the hotel. Save yourself a fortune an get a bus. The bus stop is about a 2 min walk from the hotel. Speak to the staff for more travel information they are awesome!

Dank u wel!

Everything about this hotel is lovely. The staff, the decor, the room size, the bed size, the sauna, the gym, the complimentary items in the fridge & coffee pods. The location is slightly out of the centre, but I much prefer to do that than stay in a central hotel. There's a tram and bus stop just outside which takes you into the city within 10 minutes and so easy to use. Buy a 3 day travel pass (or however long you're there) or just tap on and off with your bank card. There's a big supermarket 5 minutes from the hotel ( they only take debit card not credit) with everything you could possibly need. The staff are very friendly and helpful too, no question was too small or silly. The sauna is a little added luxury, robes, slippers and towels provided on every visit. The gym is small but well equipped. The ONE thing I would say, is that it would be nice to have Netflix on the TV's, especially since the TV's spin around and you can watch from the sofa or in bed, sometimes it's nice to chill out and watch a movie when you're not out. Would highly recommend to all friends and family and if I ever visited Amsterdam again I would stay here in a heartbeat!

Absolutely fantastic! Wonderful staff, brilliant rooms and overall building (clean, stylish, high-end and luxurious) and just across from a tran and bus stop to get you into the centre in 10-20 minutes. 10/10

I stayed here as it was very close to the office we have based in Amsterdam. I arrived very late in the evening due to being busy at work and was greeted by a kind gentleman named Lima(sp?).

Very polite and informative and went out of his way to help when needed. I was told about the bar which you can help yourself and make your own drinks which I found super cool.

The room itself was beyond amazing, super clean and spacious and more than what I expected. You have all the amenities such as an oven microwave, hob, pots and pans, cutlery etc. Unfortunately I was only there for the 1 night but would highly recommend staying there when I am back in town.

I also used the gym in the morning which was great. Empty as well which is unsual haha.

Thank you to Lima again for making the stay pleasant and warming.

This hotel is wonderful! The staff is caring, helpful and sincere. The room has many upgrades and feels very comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom are top quality. HOT water and no warm up time. Bed could use a topper to increase the comfort but bed is not uncomfortable. TV is lacking chrome cast. Location is perfect. There is a bus and tram pickup right in front of the hotel and both lines can get you to the heart of the action very quickly. Several delicious restaurants within 3-5 min walk. You can’t go wrong here.

Love, love, love this hotel! So this is quite long :) Check in was fast and Anika was so so so nice and patient and understanding, we had to speed up everything when we checked in bec we mad 4pm appointment at Van Gogh Museum and it was 3:45pm, and she just let all our luggage stored in a jiffy, helped us and made sure we counted it right and the laptops were secured, so so well done. When we got back, she was very patient and informed us its going to take her a while to finish because we are a family of 8, yup big group! All front desks peep here were so so so nice, housekeeping too! excellent excellent excellent customer service, by far the best I've ever encountered, and I used to work front desk agent (4 yrs) in Hilton when I was younger, but their team is superb! Ive witness one guest (while I was waiting in the lobby) who was a little annoying but the way Elise (guess that's her name) handled it was very polite and professional, made the guest felt really comfortable, kuddos! Now, the apartment, we booked 2 two bedroom apartments, and everything everything was perfect for our family, they even provided some welcome gifts for our little kids!!! we truly appreciate it! (not a cheap stuff toy!!!! so surprised on this!, thank you so much!). We didnt try the restaurant due to our schedule, so couldnt comment on that. We did do laundry, and it was nice they have coin laundry (to be purchased at the front desk) with soap included! If I were to make suggestions, maybe add more machines, but then again , now one is supposed to be doing laundry anyway :) so I could understand that there is only one set and one washer (we are on a 2 week Europe trip so we needed to do laundry, which is also one of the reasons we chose this place). Both apartments are spacious, really fitted well for our family esp w/ kids, there is enough space to roam around so no cramping on one space or corner. All you need for a vacation cooking is here (of course you have top provide your spices, cooking oil and such) we didnt cook but we heated some store bought food so we did use the kitchen plus bec of the weather we mostly took our food with us and eat in our apartments. Beds comfy comfy comfy. The area is so nice and quiet, perfect for a family like us. The hotel is right next door to a small park, next to it are restaurants, bakery, and store Albert Heijn which is very convenient-all reachable within few feet walk.We slept very well, this is truly home away from home!We even walk to the park! our kids love it! We rented 2 adult bikes (they dont have kid's bike so we went to their recommended bike rental about 2 miles from the hotel, we walked to that place and two of us adults rode bike we rented from the hotel). Lastly, like others have said , the tram is very convenient, right across the street (#24 Central, and on your way back #24 VUMC), we took taxi from the airport, not too far so opted for taxi plus we are 8, saved us money instead of bus (Amsterdam public transport fare is expensive! better take taxi if you were a big group which what we did, saved us money and lots of headache for the transfer and getting in and out esp with the rain).Overall, highly recommended!!! not too far from the city.

Great hotel in an area that takes you away from the city centre itself, but is just a short trip away - especially by bike, which can be rented from the hotel. Unfortunately, the area does not have many great coffee or food spots close by. There is, however a supermarket is just 1 min walk. The studio room had plenty of space which is well setup and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful.

A brilliant choice for our family with small children. We had a small apartment within the hotel which included two separate bedrooms + en-suite and a small kitchen (including nespresso machine). Lovely design and amenities. Delicious fresh breakfast hamper delivered to the room. Staff is very friendly, professional and yet authentic and relaxed.

Very very very beautiful hotel, super stylish, good check-in and they offer you a drink meanwhile, design all over the place incl art work is just stunning. Quite pricey, but so well appointed incl sauna, breakfast.... tram stop right across the street to bring you to anywhere you want to be in Amsterdam, super convenient. Parking is €25 per day, and Schiphol Airport is only 10 mins by car. Excellent place, would stay again without a doubt.

The layout of the rooms just makes sense. You can tell that the person who designed this hotel paid close attention to the details.

Our hotel room was in an apartment style, so it came with a miniature kitchen and living room in an open layout design that connected with the bedroom.

The staff were friendly. The room was clean and we'll maintained. And the hotel is right next to a train stop where you can easily catch a ride to the airport or into downtown
