Hotel Amsterdam - Bilderberg Garden Hotel

My wife and I found our stay here pleasant. Our room was clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable and the room spacious. The staff were professional, friendly and helpful. The snack shop kiosk was very convenient. The food at the restaurant was excellent. The waiter was professional and friendly as well. Unfortunately I forgot his name, but a real gentleman. We will definitely book here on our next visit.

We stayed 5 nights here and couldn't have been more pleased. In a quiet area of Amsterdam we felt at home away from home. The staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. The room was very clean and most things that we needed were within walking distance (Coffee, restaurants, public transportation). We enjoyed our stay and would likely come back here for future trips.

Really friendly team, very willing to assist. Room and bathroom were great. The only slight negative was the lack of storage space and the proximity of the wardrobe to the bed. It made it more cramped than necessary as the room was large enough. Also very few drawers. The room and bathroom servicing and provision of e.g. umbrella's was appreciated. Overall we had a great stay and would certainly return.

It was a great surprise how friendly and personable the team members I was in contact with are / were.
A short stay, unfortunately.
The negative point is that the bed was TOO comfortable that I was stressed making my flight as it was so comfortable in that bed. Thank you!

First time in Amsterdam and this hotel stay was one of the highlights of the trip. Bienvenida (Bienva) is an all star and made our experience the best. Her service and professionalism was exceptional. I'll be back hoping to run into her again.

Great hotel , well located. Friendly staff. Check out was speedy and staff were extremely helpful with organising a taxi to the Airport. Rooms were a good size , clean and bathroom was clean modern and had everything you need. Great value for money .

We are delighted to host our weekly meetings at The Bilderberg Gardenhotel. Supersfriendly staff, spotless preparation and awesome crowd. Its hard to maintain this standard 50 times a year, but its being done and it seems effortless, hence a true five star experience.

This hotel and conference center has a boutique look and feel in the midst of the city.

The other guests are also friendly and polite. Hotels in Amsterdam have a tendency of attrackting a very diverse crowd and that might make it a bit to lively.
The garden hotel is tranquile and laid back, which gives ua an intimate and homely feel in an urban oasis in a lush part of town, near airport and musea.

Great location, very easy to walk into the centre, through a lovely park. Also 2 tram stops to choose from if you wanted to get the tram. Rooms are spacious, very clean and modern. Hotel is located in a very nice area, very safe.

Ron and I had a very pleasant experience staying at this hotel. We liked everything about it from the location (we walked to famous tourist spots), service ( excellent customer service- knowledgeable and accommodatin staff) to the room (clean and perfectly decorated; we were supplied with all what we needed for our stay). Kudos too on the transfer to the airport. Our chauffeur was personable.

Great hotel located in the suburbs of Amsterdam! Rooms were large and comfortable. Only issue in the room was that the windows didn't seem to be double pane and we could not raise the thermostat temperature as our room was too cold. Front desk staff were friendly and wonderful! Especially Bienva who greeted us on our arrival after a long day of traveling from Phoenix. We arrived at the hotel around 8:30am and were very tired. She was able to assist in getting us checked in as soon as a clean room was available. We truly appreciated her empathy and understanding that we were very tired from lack of sleep after traveling 12 hours. Thank you so much Bienva for your excellent customer service!

Nice hotel, 30 min on foot to center and 25 min to RAI. Very convenient to reach by bus from airport. Spacious rooms with air-conditioning. Very appreciated Rituals in the bathroom. Very good breakfast with champagne and orange fresh. There was iron and small fridge in the room.

The location was excellent, in a very quiet neighbourhood, but within reasonable walking distance of the attractions of Amsterdam.
We found a number of good local restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk. The room was spacious and well appointed, and the bed extremely comfortable. The bar was well stocked, and priced comparably to the bars in town. Breakfast was the only meal we experienced at the hotel, but the quality and variety was excellent.
We would recommend the hotel to anyone who is looking for a peaceful location, but near enough to the town cente to make walking a possibility.

Amazing hotel in a great location. Not too far out of the centre but enough so you don’t get all the noises.

Hotel staff were friendly and rooms were clean. Bed super king sized (executive suite).
Snacks and drinks bought downstairs were really pricey though!

All the staff were very friendly. Hotel very clean the whole presentation of the entrance the outside was 100%
The taxi service ordered from the hotel to the airport very very good. Nothing was any trouble. The driver very chatty and polite.
We had a perfect no stress stay at the hotel we will visit again.

Pleasantly surprised! The outside looks very dated, and we wondered what we had booked, but inside was lovely and has been upgraded to a high standard making hard to believe you are in the same building! Staff were efficient and friendly, rooms were clean, comfortable and had everything you would need. Hotel is a couple of minutes away from nearest tram stop making it easy enough to get around. Only minor negative point was breakfast, Items ran out early - meaning no bacon by 10.15 even tho breakfast closed at 11am, and would be nice if you could order a poached or fried egg, but there didn’t seem to be any one around to ask. Overall a good stay tho in a nice area and we would certainly comeback.

We stayed for two nights and were very happy with the cleanliness of the hotel, the helpfulness of the staff and our overall experience. The location is quiet and within easy walking distance of the museums/central Amsterdam.

Excellent hotel. Convenient location. Just a brief stroll over a small waterway bridge to cafes, coffee shops, restaurants. Walking a few minutes further to even more public transportation access into the center square for shopping, even more restaurants and pubs with more public transportation options to more destinations towards Centraal Station of Amsterdam. *PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION is so easy and convenient in Amsterdam. **PAY ATTENTION to the bike riders though and bike paths.

Wow beautiful rooms… and the cleaners are so lovely! Okay so it’s not got the best curb appeal (buildings not great) but the rooms are amazing! There’s also a cool honesty shop where you can get beers and peanut m&m’s - I would absolutely recommend this hotel wow

Enjoyed our stay.
After our Viking Rhine Cruise ended in Amsterdam, we planned to stay the night to check out the city. This hotel had the right combination of price, location, and amenities. We chose one of the 2nd floor suits which included a balcony for smoking. The room was located above the side street which was lined with sycamore trees so the balcony was screened by the branches—it was lovely. Noise level was not bad since this was not the tourist sector but it was still the city so it wasn’t quiet or dark. The room was spacious especially the bathroom. From the hotel we walked to the old city and passed several canals along the way. We didn’t wind up eating at the hotel but we did order from the bar and the bartender was friendly. The staff was friendly and called a cab for us in the morning to get to the airport. Would stay here again.

There was a particular lady who was outstanding, unfortunately I did not get her name. This lady worked between breakfast, the bar and served lunch all on her own on one of the days (5th July). Stayed very professional and was still able to give the best service. Also saw her next morning working efficiently at breakfast. Thank you 😊
