Great range to choose what color and base you'd like for your vintage Eames chair produced by Herman Miller, as well as awesome service all the way from choosing to shipment. We visited the store during a weekend in Amsterdam, and then got them shipped home to Sweden within 2 weeks, well secured in the package.

Buying vintage furniture is always a funky game, especially when you don't have the time to drive personally to beautiful Amsterdam to look at stuff live (and have the good sense not to do so, as you'd probably end up buying 4 chairs instead of 1 or 2). So of course there are a lot of questions and so on, and Jurjen was extremely helpful and patient. Actually, so much so that I went and bought a chair at ModernVintage that I could have had for 100 € less at another (also great) seller. Just, basically, because you want to repay people for being nice and because I like what Jurjen does and how he does it.
The chair itself arrived lighting quick, the base was a bit tricky to build but I like the natural dark wood much better than the lighter and lacquered Vitra dowels (who, however, have somewhat better screws and felt gliders ;-)). The parchment Miller-DAW is a real beauty and together with the Elephant & Black one will really add to our conference room a touch of design history. Many thanks!

De vintage shells zijn er in veel verschillende kleuren en de base is kwalitatief zeer goed. Jurjen denkt mee, heeft verstand van zaken en is flexibel.
