Qahve

Looking for a hot cup of fresh herbal tea on a cold morning in what is called the " kolenkit " area. A pleasant surprise to have found this place. Lovely welcoming staff and delicious food. In walks the baker with fresh loafs of Turkish bread ..This place breathes kantine with its subtle light. I found a place where I will regularly have tea.

The coffee quality improves from the first time we were here.

The place has a great potential to become one of the hot spots for coffee in Amsterdam. The location is very beautiful and cozy with big windows. The staff is super friendly and orders come pretty fast. (Very fast as we were the first stay in customers on a Sunday morning)
The coffee was good, but not great! I will definitely recommend this place and I will come again

Had an incredible breakfast consisting of bazlama with mozzarella, tomato and pesto, with an iced coffee on the side. Not too pricy, and very tasty! One small thing that could be improved is for the waiter to be a bit more engaging; we hardly saw him and when my friend and I finished our food, after 15 minutes no one had come to pick up our plates or ask if we wanted to pay. All in all, though, really nice and relatively cheap place for a good, filling breakfast!

This place is VERY nice!
I took some turkish bread(?) with vegies (didn't remember the name of meal), an some ice latte.
Price is very nice for good amount of food, and the food itself was delicious too.

The place has a toilet and sink upstairs, so you can wash hands before eating.

Also the owner was very sweet and gave everyone inside a free glass of fresh mango-orange juice.

Overall perfect place to grab tasty and cheap food or to have a lunch.

I’ve lived in Amsterdam for quite some years now, and I would have to agree with all the hipsters. This is the best coffee in town 😃🫶.
Also, I love their matcha latte 🍵 and fresh pastries

Cute little gem in Amsterdam but West. Beautiful vibe, super tasty food and drinks.

I have improved the score to 5*, cause the second time the coffee was much better.

The atmosphere was very nice, staff was helpful and welcoming.
Coffee was just ok, the flat white was a bit too sour for me, mostly due to the milk not the coffee.

Lady working in here is nice and kind.
Coffee is tasty and carrot cake is insanely delicious & fresh ☺

Good coffee americano and super nice carrot cake, I haven't eat something like that in a long time. I like that there are actual pieces of nuts, and the cream toping is very smooth but not too sweet. Very balanced cake in my opinion.

Extremely good place. The owner is very laid back and nice to have a talk to. The pastry is good as well. The beans are good. I haven’t tried filter coffee but I think it should be good as well. If there are no options for filter, I would suggest adding them and market them!

Qahve is a hidden gem in the neighborhood! The owner and the staff are super friendly, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that keeps me coming back. As a vegetarian, I appreciate their delicious cheese toasties and the homemade bazlamas, which are always satisfying. My kids absolutely love the ice from Nice and their selection of Fritz Limonade and hot Salep adds another layer of enjoyment to the menu.
The prices are very fair, considering the high quality of the offerings.
In conclusion, Qahve is a perfect blend of warmth, flavor, and hospitality - a fantastic café that I wholeheartedly recommend.

The best place to take a coffee, relax, enjoy good music, eat excelent turkish sandwichs and amazing sweets (the fudge is my favorite one)! Definitively, Qahve is a amazing place in Amsterdam, where you can really enjoy with your friends, family, kids or dog. The quality of coffee and service surprised me!
