Really beautiful and peaceful space in a historic building. The site was apparently first used as a meeting place of the Free Socialist Workers Movement, then a church, then a warehouse, and has been a mosque since 1980.

This mosque is located within walking distance of the central/tourist part of Amsterdam, is easily accessible by public transportation, and has prayer space for both women and men. Jummah started at around 2pm when I was there (June) and finished before 2:30. The sermon was in Arabic, Turkish, and Dutch.

Great place to visit for prayers or just to see a beautiful historic building.

Machallah a very beautiful and appealing mosque.
The exterior is still look more of what it was previously (a church), yet the entrance is clearly decorated with Islamic style, the inside is amazing, very spacious and organized. The map is displayed at different places so you can’t miss your way.
I love it so much, and felt so spiritual when praying there.
May Allah reward everyone contributed in making this mosque the way it is!

Beautiful mosque with wudhu and prayer section for both men and women. Al hamdulillah.

The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever recites the ‘verse of the Throne’ (ayat al kursi) after every prescribed prayer, there will be nothing standing between him and entry into Paradise but his death.”

The most beautiful mosque in Amsterdam City I've ever seen. And It is Very close to Amsterdam Central. Which is awesome.

Had the privilege to offer my Jummah on 6th October.

Nice big turkish masjid and islamic centre with washrooms and ablution place for bith males and females.

Perfectly organized & maintained. There's a fully automatic terminal where you can donate to the foundation using credit/debit cards wirelessly.
The ablution area is spotless.
The main prayer hall is well isolated & you won't be hearing any noise from the busy streets.
There's also a small decent cafeteria there where you can rest or study a bit while enjoying a cup of coffee or tea (pictured).
My only feedback is regarding the Qibla, where they have the word Allah written in backwards (visible in one of the photos here)! I really don't understand why!!

Wonderful, clean, beautiful, quiet and impressive. Big praying room for men and separate praying room fir women. Easy to reach by public transportation. Has small turkey style cafe and sitting place out side the praying room but we didn’t buy anything. Wil visit again next time when in Amsterdam

One of the bigger mosques in Amsterdam. It was formly a church. Went there for jummah on 21 July 2023. Jumah khutbah starts at 2pm and salah begins at 2:15pm. Alot of halal eatries outside the mosque.

One of the most interesting mosques i’ve ever been. This used to be a church for years then for the past four decades has been used as a mosque. It’s been declared as a historical building, btw.

One of the most beautiful mosques I've seen in Europe. Friday khutbah I guess was in Turkish. They have places for females (also place for ablution)

One of the oldest and beautiful masjid in Amsterdam central which used to be church. I was blessed to pray here while on vacation from Los Angeles.

A nice masjid in Amsterdam area. Very clean praying arrangement. It is of wonderful architecture. Prayed Isha salah in a busy night. Few halal restaurants near by as well.

I’ve experienced a real Muslim hospitality here during museumnacht. It was very special and emotional to listen to azan and participate in the calligraphy workshop.
