Incredible. Absolutely worth the commute from downtown Amsterdam. I felt inspired by so many of the art pieces and styles used within that space. There was one artist actively working on a piece while I was there so it was pretty cool watching him. Wish there were more art prints or products ranging less that €100 to show support for multiple artists in the gift shop.

Impressive and spacious venue hosting a variety of street art all with explanations. It is informative and thought provoking. If street art is your thing I would highly recommend it. The entrance is a bit pricey but you can spend a lot of time here since there is a cafe that provides a nice panoramic view of the space.

Incredible art in a fantastic warehouse setting. The museum hosts graffiti art classes for kids and adults which are super fun. learn how to tag and bring home your own canvas. The cafe was tasty and well stocked with sandwiches, worsts, brownies, cookies, muffins, and beer, wine, coffee, tea, and soft drinks. Indoor heaters keep the cafe seating cozy regardless of outside temps. Staff was super friendly and did such a nice job hosting the kids party. Overall, excellent experience!

This was an amazing experience for me and my students. The guided tour was exceptional and the space was dramatically huge with a ton of cool pieces. Then we had the graffiti workshop that was out of this world! My art students took to the task well and were expertly guided by two, energetic staff members.

Wonderful doesn’t even cover it!!

The STRAAT Museum is absolutely not to be missed! The admission price is a bit steep at €19.50, but well worth it. The audio tour is free of charge, so be sure to bring a pair of headphones! The subject matter of the audio tour rotates seasonally; during my visit (January 2024), it focused on Urban Activism regarding environmentalism. Backpacks are not allowed, but they have a locker room that is free to use. This museum is indoors, but not temperature-controlled, so it can be very cold in the winter. There is free wifi, a cafe with delicious food & beverage options, and a gift shop. The cafe takes both cash and credit card, the gift shop only accepts credit card. All of the staff were incredibly friendly!

My favorite new modern museum! I loved this space so much. There is a great mix of artists and the scale is perfect. Great treasure hunt to go along with the exhibits.

Amazing museum! The venue was grand, and the range of styles and historical information about street art
was really well done. There was a Shepherd Fairey exhibit when we went, which was interesting.

Very impactful museum. I loved it!

Only negative was that they were doing construction on the road leading to it. I had taken the bus there, and it was difficult to figure out how to get there since that road was completely torn up. I wandered between several buildings in the industrial park before I finally found a way that went all the way through. Some signage from the bus stop would be helpful!

Fantastic place. Incredible artwork. I found a new appreciation for street art. Does it lose a little of its subversive nature when you see it in a museum? Maybe. But it also reaches new audiences. Keep spraying!
Oh, and easily the best museum Cafe I've ever been to.

AMAZING! in love with this place! So much great moving street art! It’s chilly inside in the winter so bring layers but I will brave the cold for this museum! Epic! Just epic! I highly recommend it!

We loved STRAAT museum! Definitely one of our highlights during our trip to Amsterdam. Very educational and unique museum experience. The history of the space and area where it is located is pretty interesting too. A different side of Amsterdam beyond the city center. Highly recommend!

Incredible experience!! It's a must-see in Amsterdam, in our opinion. We're a family of four with boys ages 10 & 12, and this was by far their favorite museum in the city. We were all blown away by the quality of the art and love that they brought the artists to Amsterdam to create their work. It's really family-friendly. They have a scavenger hunt for kids and (at least when we were there) an incentive for finishing it. Amazing art that made for some family fun and great conversations. Unlike other museums, you can show up spontaneously without reserving online.

Amazing experience here! It's not centrally located to Amsterdam but it's a short walk after to hop on the ferry near the train station.

It's worth the walk!

All the art is incredible. Take your time and enjoy. No more spoilers from me. Experience it for yourself!

A couple of things:
They don't take cash
They don't take AMEX
There are plenty of restrooms
There's a wonderfully quaint cafe!!!

You won't be disappointed.

The STRAAT was one of the highlights of our Amsterdam trip. We almost skipped over it, but found some time to kill and decided to add it to our itinerary. This is not like any other museum. It’s more like a giant gallery with huge pieces of art displayed. Much of the art comes from renown street artists from around the world. We ended up taking our time and spent around 90 minutes to take in all the art.

There is a free ferry that gets you within 3 minutes walking to the museum entrance. Find the ferries that depart behind the Amsterdam Centraal Station. I believe it’s for the F4 route that goes from Amsterdam Centraal to NSDM. There’s a website that goes over the departure times but Zhen we were there there was a ferry that departed every 30 minutes. Google Amsterdam Ferry for more information!

This is the best presentation of graffiti I've seen in one place. Scores of huge paintings and art works fill the space and more are added all the time. Each one is stunning, some just as art work and some for their messages. I especially liked the Latin American section of murales. Really cool. We got the one hour tour, our guide was super neat and very knowledge, since they're getting a degree in graffiti culture and the law, so I highly recommend the tour too.

Incredible place with hundreds of large artwork in an old warehouse. A must if you like street art. It was cold inside this huge building, and we enjoyed a warm soup at the café afterward.

My favorite museum on the Amsterdam map! I could spend hours walking around and admiring the art, the pieces are rotated regularly and artists are required to paint in the location so you can enjoy observing the creative process. The ticket is a little over €18 and museum card doesn’t work there. Highly recommend a visit, it’s an incredible place!

Before I get into my review, for anyone visiting in the winter, be aware that while the museum is inside, it is a warehouse with no heating (except for gift shop and cafe). Please be sure to dress up as if yon were going to be outside.

With that being said, the museum, the art, the staff and the tour is unrivaled. This is an amazing experience and once everyone should see.
