Amazing Oriental Amsterdam Noord

I went to Oriental today. I saw a Korean snack bar in the store. I remembered my friend recommending delicious chicken there, so I thought I should eat it of course. While looking at the menu I was thinking between Honey Chicken and Soy Sauce Garlic Chicken and she made both for me to taste both flavors 🥺 Chicken was very delicious and crispy. 10/10 💯 There were many different menus you can order !
She was so kind and could talk in every language. She gave me her own kimchi so I could taste it, and it reminded me of my mom back home. It's really great to have a simple meal here when you come to look around the mart !

Best vegan noodles in the country. Lots of vegan meat substitutes and candy. Very nice store, helpful staff and good location for me to drive by on my way home.

't has already been two years since I visited this super toko.
It is getting better for the good.
Feels as if you're in south east Asia.
Lots of produce available,
find your special sauce which could be hard to get in other shops around lots of that available of what you may miss in the Netherlands,
if not Western Europe.

Take a look inside and enjoy the space and smell the spices when walking through the spices aisles.

This Chinese shop is great! I was so impressed with their prices, which are incredibly reasonable and yet their products are still of very high quality. They also have a huge selection of unique and interesting items, and everything is well-organized and easy to browse. Service was great, too: the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

Everything is just great here, u will find all the Asian products and ingredients.
And yet they have a restaurant and bubble tea 🧋
Food haven't tried yet but bubble tea is my to go drink.

Wonderful selection of Asian,South American,North American and Caribbean Islands foods and spices.☆☆☆UPDATE ☆☆☆ I found myself looking for Szechwan peppers in the Albert Hein 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂!! Made my way to Amazing Oriental and of course, they had them (plus a whole bunch of other goodies).

I’ve tried many Asian supermarkets (Dun Yong, many in Amsterdam Zuid-Oost), but my go-to Asian supermarket remains this one! It’s clean, organized, complete.

You’ll literally find every Asian ingredients you can think of.

They carry a wide (read: huge) range of instant noodles, dim-sum, sweets, savory snacks and sauces.
You’ll even find ready-to eat Asian foods.

My top finds (so far) were:
- brown rice rice paper rolls
- vegan kimchi
- pure rice vinegar (most are diluted with alcohol)
- kombu
- frozen soft shell crab
- Banana leaves
- Huge steamer basket

Amazing offering of groceries and great fast food corner. Worth a visit!

Our favourite supermarket in Noord, well in Amsterdam. Excellent selection and availability. Fresh vegetables and meat/fish areas very good too

Decent size. Can find most things you need.

Very neatly structured asian supermarket, the aisles are broad enough and accessible for wheelchairs easily, prices are pretty good even in these times, but the quality is better than your money's worth so that's an extra plus.
No complaints about the personnel either, 5/5 for me

This is an excellent grocery store with Asian and non-Asian (Suriname, Indian) groceries. Lots of options, a great in-house dine-in cafe. (Limited seating) and excellent bubble tea (boba is really good). You get items like sauces, vegetables, fruits, instant noodles, noodles, tofu, soju, frozen section with dumplings, baos, wontons, frozen lime leaves, seafood etc.

Love this store! If you have ever lived in SE Asia, like I have (in northern Thailand), it's indeed amazing. Except for ichitan ice teas, they have everything I could possibly ask for. They even sell reasonably fresh mangosteen and other veggies fruits when they are in season. No toko in NL can compete! Their snackbar/foodcourt at the entrance is superb too. Lets you order in advance with your phone/pad/pc. Service personnel super kind and knowledgeable.

Amazing food especially the new Korean place that just opened! The ladies were lovely 😊 The grocery store is great!

Brilliant shop, a bit out of the tourist trek but it's a shop o can get lost in.. for the right reasons.. of you like Asian food and need something this is the place

The biggest Asian supermarket in the area and reasonable prices. Also lots of options at the small Restaurant close by.

Love this place, they have everything. Seriously everything. And real Asian stuff, not like the regular supermarket where they sell European versions of Asian products. If you’re looking for ingredients and other food related product I’d recommend you go here. No other place like this.
