Stopped by this cozy, neighborhood bar for dinner. Sat at the bar, drank good local beer and ate a delicious dinner. We both had lamb, prepared in different ways. My wife had the chops, thin cut, grilled perfectly. A great, out of the way spot to enjoy local flavor.

Nice staff and good food. Cosy and typical is the atmosphere. They even made space for our dog but asking another table to exchange with us. Amazing!

We didn’t eat here so can’t comment on the food. We called in here and were really surprised with what we found. A really cool atmosphere with great staff. We had a lot of fun with the bartender creating cocktails for us. Definitely worth a visit!!!

One of the best places to eat I have tried so far.
I have eaten here twice (October and December) and they nailed it both times. Lamb pesto was fantastic and second time I ordered pork steak with blue cheese sauce - dreamy!
All this was accompanied with some lovely beers and finally with a sticky toffee dessert that was over the top.
All this at more than fair price tag.
This is the place to eat and drink!

Me and my husband came here on the last night of our holiday in Haarlem. The place was packed but the staff we so attentive and friendly the atmosphere was welcoming and vibrant.
Even though we didnt have a reservation we could have a drink amd they squeezed us in for food, which was very reasonably priced and high quality. It was great to ha e traditional warming food in a bustling place on a cold autumn evening.
The beer was great and very well priced in comparison with other bars in the area.
We wish we had gone sooner but we will have to visit again next time we r in Haarlem.

I've been coming to Haarlem for years, and I am disappointed it took me this long to stop in. Might be my new favorite cafe in Haarlem.

Love this place. A local hangout with unique ambiance and great food, service and beers. Nightly specials and ample size portions. Visited twice in our stay in Haarlem and was not disappointed at all. We will return.

We came here a few times - they have remarkably tasty food for a beer bar, and a fantastic selection of Dutch and Belgian beers.

It's a lively place on Friday and Saturday, but during the week it's pretty relaxed and mellow.

We were new to the place, so we asked them for help to suggest us what to eat, and they were pretty helpful describing the food and helping us choose a great meal. Will definitely go back next time we are there.

This little restaurant is the perfect place when you want to taste a local beer and having a dinner among the locals.

A lovely bar off the beaten track down an alley and yet close to the heart of Haarlem. A good selection of mostly Dutch and, as you would expect from the name, Belgian beers. The food is superb and excellent value for money. Very popular with the locals, which is always a good sign.

Great food, good beer, we were able get a table even during pub trivia. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. Great pumpkin ginger soup and delicious fries!

Cosy little place to eat in the heart of Haarlem, delicious food and generous portions. Lovely staff who are very willing to help out with translating the menu. Very popular with the locals, this place was recommended to us by our Airbnb host, and we're really glad she did

What to say about Bruxelles. Best restaurand in town in terms if meeting expectations. You always know what you can expect. Hardly ever disappoints. Staff is friendly and after the recent rennovation better toilets. Most bears on draft and from bottle in town!

If you want a quick and good meal the 'daghap' is good bang for buck!

Very friendly place off on a little side street. Beer selection is very good and the food is excellent. With reservations they can accommodate a fairly large group here.

Food was good, great selection of beers, nice and friendly staff

This is the pub of Haarlem where you gotta just drink a belgian beer and some pub grub! Meet up with some friends or bring a date and see what they got on the menu. Especially nice to be here when it's cold and rainy outside.
