Van der Valk Hotel Haarlem

The hotel is simply beautiful. The entrance is royal and the staff if helpful & friendly. The rooms very spacious (biggest I’ve ever had not counting suites), clean, large bathroom (with bath & shower) and a separate toilet, very modern and comfortable. They all have a balcony or terrace. Bar/restaurant are good too. Enough parking spaces. There’s wellness too but didn’t utilize it. 30min drive (with no peak traffic) to downtown Amsterdam

It was a nice experience for us, a well maintained and clean room. A spacious bathtub that fit both me and my wife, and a separate bathroom.
The downside was that the shower was leaking, when normally showering, and that the double bed had 2 single mattresses instead of a double one. Also it was no smart TV, which is appreciated those days, at least connecting my phone to watch my own streams.
The restaurant was ok, but we expected better. Also the bar has a limited selection of cocktails.
But, the overall experience was nice, also being close to the city center with only like a 4 minute bus and friendly staff

This hotel is immense. The restaurant is incredible, the staff are amazing and the rooms are bang on. The only issue is is quite a walk to get anywhere or a car journey but the hotel is definitely worth it. Would definitely stay here again.

The rooms were gorgeous. Very comfy beds and great bathrooms. For an extra fee they added balloons and streamers to help celebrate my husband's birthday. The room service QR code was missing in the room. the front desk didn't now how to get us a new one so we had to call down each time we wanted room service. Also they insisted on taking a credit card number from us the first time even though we had a card on the room. The second time they said they could use the card on the room. Seems like an inconsistent policy. Breakfast offered a lot of choice and was delicious. I also like the scan and go corner that has been added from snacks, drinks and alcohol.

The breakfast was definitely the highlight and the best I’ve ever had at a hotel. There was a great selection and it all tasted good. It’s priced at €18 per person. I stayed here for a week and it was overall a good experience. The ebike rental was good at $25 a day. You can ride for as long as you want and you don’t feel tired. It’s a decent distance from Amsterdam, around 30 minutes by car. The beds were comfy and my room had a nice shared balcony. The car park is free and very big, you will definitely find a spot. The bathroom was a bit of a strange situation. There were 2 bathrooms: one with a toilet and sink, and one with a sink, shower, bathtub. The one with the toilet was able to lock, the one without was not.

This is one of my best hotels so far. Rooms are very spacious and beautiful. They have varieties for breakfast.
It also the best hotel for your corporate meetings and events.

Comfortable hotel nearby Haarlem, with many rooms, ideal for meetings and conferences thanks to the many meeting rooms available. Service is good, like the restaurant. Amsterdam is not far away, like the international airport, so the location is strategical. Of course you always need a car or bus to reach any city around.

Fantastic hotel in Haarlem. Amazing breakfast (though it’s quite expensive) and lots of space to chill or work. Ideally located to get into Amsterdam (25 min taxi), or Haarlem, which is like a 30 minute walk to old town :)

Clean and spacies rooms, because of cancelling flight i ended up in this hotel, they do not have a shuttle possibility from the airport so taxi is easiest to get there (80€ late evening). Hotel and staff, food etc i only can recommend 👌👌.

Very nice hotel and restaurant. Friendly service, good spacious rooms and nice food. The breakfast is just amazing.

We went for dinner on a Friday evening. The atmosphere was relaxed and it was not very busy which was great. We ordered from the menu and had quite a lot of different dishes. Everything was tasty and cooked well. The Fish and Chips were my favourite. Service was good and fast. We will definitely go back one day for another nice meal. This time was for my mother's birthday.

Great hotel. Bar and breakfast were enjoyable. The only issue is that the bar doesn't serve anything not on the menu. The kids bunk room was so great!

We've stayed here several times for family celebrations and each time it's been a fantastic experience, very friendly staff, quality service and top quality food. The menu in the restaurant is varied and well presented with generous portions. The breakfast is an experience in itself, fresh and so varied catering for everyone's preferences. Overall a fantastic hotel and 100% recommended to families, individuals or business travellers.

I absolutely love this chain, the one in Haarlam is off the charts! It's fancy, classy, and super clean. I lucked out and got a room with a jacuzzi. They've got a spa too, so I totally pampered myself. Everything was awesome, no complaints whatsoever.

The food was so delicious and they had a ton of options to choose from. As for the parking, You can just pull up right in front of the hotel, and they have charging stations for electric cars.

The location rocks. You've got the beach nearby, and loads of restaurants and fun stuff to do, all just a short 15-minute drive away. This place is amazing and i am coming back soon!

Went there for a business lunch at the restaurant. Good choice, very professional service. It's a bit on the expensive side but worth.

Amazing location close to the bus stop. Interior is amazing as well as the exterior. The room is spacious including the bathroom. Their room service is very clean and tidy. The staff and reception are very professionally helpful.
