Very nice room. Nice terrace in the center of De Koog. The food was delicious but what we liked the most was the customer service. Specially the guy at the reception (young guy) and the sweet lady at the restaurant with medium short hair! I truly recommended!

We had a fantastic deluxe room that was really a comfortable studio apartment. Breakfast was at least 4* hotel standard (unusual in Netherlands). Location is ideal - 50m from the main restaurant and shopping area and 300m to the massive beach. Our only regret was that we had booked just one night...

‘Comfort’ room was cozy and looked renovated, the staff was super friendly and we had a nice stay overall - would come back if we were to visit Texel again. Free parking and good location.

Very good hotel with very clean rooms, good bathroom, comfortable beds and lots of space. The breakfast is also very good with plenty of different things to eat. It located close to supermarkets, restaurants and the beach is just over the dunes.

Fantastic place to enjoy your holiday. Delicious food and very friendly staff. The rooms are clean and tightly. Some rooms are even equipped with sauna!

Nice Hotel in the center of "De Koog" We stayed for a week. Staff are friendly, professional. The Restaurant is good as well.

Ideale ligging bij de winkelstraat EN het strand. Hotel is diervriendelijk. Hond mag mee in het restaurant. Vriendelijk personeel! Mooie kamer op het gelijkvloers, met balkonnetje .

Freundliches Personal. Ein sehr schön eingerichtetes Haus. Frühstücksbuffet mit frischen Produkten und guter Auswahl. Parkplätze direkt vor der Türe. Restaurant mit guter Auswahl und alles sehr lecker. Strand und Fußgängerzone in wenigen Minuten fußläufig zu erreichen

Village in the Netherlands

De Koog is a village in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Texel, and lies about 17 km north of Den Helder. It is the chief centre of tourism on the island, surrounded with many hotels and campgrounds. The village is located on the North Sea coast of the island. Only two narrow lines of dunes separate the village from the beach. South of the village is a wooded area which is also popular with tourists. The information centre and museum about the Wadden Sea, Ecomare, are located here. source
