They have everything you need when on holiday and even things we don't have in Germany: Filet Americain - superb!!! Very friendly and helpful personnel

Lovely supermarked that carried all we needed for a lovely pasta with muscles at our rented cabin. Has excellent pasta brands (rummo), and the muscles were great too.

Great store, has everything you'd want. Good quality produce. Lots of fresh fruits and veggies, good beer selection. Decent prices

Great selection of fresh foods and super market supplies. Very tasty looking fresh bakery area and deli. Good selection of beers, wine and spirits.

Not the only supermarket (as Gregory B writes), there is also Lidl nearby. Both supermarkets have good quality goods, fair prices and convenient opening times. Jumbo has more products to choose from, Lidl sells most products out of boxes.

Good Jumbo in the center. Just across the Gazzelle bike shop. Descent in size to get everything that you need.

Big supermarket. They have a lot of products from Texel. It's a good option to go here and buy food if you want to cycle around the island.

It is not a huge supermarket but I was able to find all the products I went looking for.
Not too long of a waiting queu for the cashiers, which is always a pro.

About De Koog
Village in the Netherlands

De Koog is a village in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Texel, and lies about 17 km north of Den Helder. It is the chief centre of tourism on the island, surrounded with many hotels and campgrounds. The village is located on the North Sea coast of the island. Only two narrow lines of dunes separate the village from the beach. South of the village is a wooded area which is also popular with tourists. The information centre and museum about the Wadden Sea, Ecomare, are located here. source
