Sterk isn’t just a convenience store. The craft beer selection is amazing!
I’m just a tourist walking around, saw beers shining through the window… we walked in, picked up some beers.
Highly recommended.

My girlfriend is an avid beer drinker and Sterk is the best place to get craft beer. Their selection is massive, it’s humanely impossible to check them all out at once. They also have nice imported sweet and salty snacks, as well as little grocery section with fresh baked goods, ham, cheese, whatever you need. Staff has been always nice too.

Sterk is a 24/7 shop like no other. They have all the crème de la crème delicatessen Amsterdam has to offer. Whether it is a sausage from brand&Levi's, some delicious chocolate or cake, Dutch licorish, cheeses, a wide range of ginger beers and non-alcoholic or one of the hundreds and hundreds of specialty beers, they have it all. And they are very willing telling everything there is to know about their products. Be aware, prices are higher then normal, but you'll get the best of everything..

One of my favourite stores in Amsterdam. It has a big beer section, but is not only an alcohol store. They sell freshly made meals that you can heat up at home, great pão de queijo and normal home supplies. And the staff is always friendly!

one of a kind store for beers! i saw beers from all over the world and the staff was very friendly and helpful. i bought some eastern european beers. if you want to buy a wide range of beers to taste, this is your best bet 👌🏽

Massive selection of beer bottles, including sours and lambics. Very friendly and helpful staff too for the bottle shop. They pack a lot into a small shop!

This place has the widest selection of beer you have ever seen! Especially if you are fond of rare beers or just something special, this is the place to go.

The staff will help you with any questions you might have. It is so much fun just browsing around. They also have a wide variety in ciders and champagnes, just have a look for yourself, you won't be disappointed!

Blown away with the choices. So many beers to choose from… I was literally walking round thinking wow after every corner I turned in this store.

Lot's of local and foreign craft beer. They also have a growler station with 4 beer choices. Very big selection of cooled craft beers. Very kind staff.

One of my favorite food stores in Amsterdam. #1 reason that they're super friendly and it makes me very comfortable shopping there. They have a wide variety of (international) foods and drinks to choose from and the assortment varies from time to time, so it's always worth a visit. They got a lot of American and Asian goodies so perfect for those who want to try something new (or for international tourists to feel like home!) and their prices are reasonable too. For those who enjoy alcohol this is also the place to be because they have so much to choose from and it all looks so cute! They also have fresh foods and a little bakery section and also quite a few vegetarian and vegan friendly stuff. I always find something I haven't seen elsewhere yet. All around awesome store, every time I'm in Amsterdam I just can't help stopping by to find something new to bring home and try. 🥰

Best place I've ever been to buy a drink. Verry large choice, frendly employees and an impressive collection of beers. I will come back this summer for my holidays in Amsterdam !!!

Nicest people in town and a great selection of beer and hard liquor

I love that his store carries so many different products (even their line of ice cream) and types of candy (chocolate).

The best grocery shop! 😁😊 they have a huge option of beer! And of course, for girls wine, sparkling wine. All you want to have you can get there.

Looks like a small grocery and liquor store, but has a large, diverse selection of beer from Amsterdam, other parts of the ND, Belgium, USA, and Germany. The staff were very helpful in guiding my selection (in English). Definitely stop by to stock up on Nederlands beer!
