One of my favorite restaurants in Groningen.
Amuse : fresh vegetarisch dish ****
Appetiser : smoked fish with kimchi ****
Inbetween menu: Fish dish with pumpkin sauce ***
Maindish: pork with red beat risotto ***
Dessert: wonderful bavaroi with red fruit and white chocolate icecream *****
Friendly service from the owner.
One thing I miss was the live piano music. Well, I will visit next time again for it.

Friendly, accommodating and informative staff. Delicious food with a gastronomic-vibe. Lovely presentation. Flavours were varied and balanced with an interesting combination of ingredients. Would recommend it.

Cozy place with live piano music and excellent food. Very good waiter service and explanation of the artfull made up dishes. I recommend having diner here!

The atmosphere was amazing! Nice lighting and nice table setting.

The food was amazing as well, and the waiter made sure we felt taken care of. Not overbearing but just right.

Everytime the food arrived we got a nice explanation and if we had questions they got answered.

They also have a really nice glass wall which they can open or close and they make sure you know you can ask that.

We went there with 'social deal' because I'm a student and I wanted to treat my parent to a nice meal. But I would be happy to pay the full price knowing it's very nice now.

The atmosphere was great, the service and the food excellent. The live paino music was also great. I really recommend restaurant when you are on a Gluten free diet.

Dining at De Zevende Hemel, splendid! Love the quality and atmosphere, personnel was lovely and the four course dinner was absolutely fantastic! Recommendable without a doubt, enjoyable at it's finest.

I could share my experience but not this time. No, this is something you have to experience yourself. Excellent service, well explained, cooks with a passion, and so on. Go for it!! You won't regret it!!

Amazing quality of food and amazing hosts!

Een goed restaurant dat met een klein team de gastvrijheid hoog heeft. Ja, op een drukkere avond kan het betekenen dat de kaart wat later wordt gebracht en dat er meer tijd dan normaal tussen de gangen in zit. Maar dat is logisch als we beseffen dat vele restaurants het met minder aantal personeelsleden moet doen. Dus ligt de focus op spreiding over de avond, zodat de kok blijvend zorg aan de menus kan besteden. Het eten is goed tot zeer goed, met z'n vieren het verassingsmenu gekozen. Persoonlijk vond ik de verse pasta helemaal top. En het 'Snickers' toetje was ook geweldig. 1900 binnen, 23:45 tevreden het pand verlaten.

Genoten van een veganistisch voorgerecht, hoofdgerecht en nagerecht. Goede smaken. Als voorgerecht de jack fruit, hoofd: de portobello met risotto en als dessert: gekarameliseerde ananas met steranijs-ijs.
Vriendelijke bediening en leuke belangstellende eigenaar met duidelijk passie voor zijn zaak en zijn gasten. Heel mooi. En dan ook nog live pianospel.
Wij komen absoluut weer!

Heerlijk gegeten, zeer vriendelijk personeel met de juiste kennis in huis. Werden door het menu genomen met een perfect wijntje bij elke gang. Genoten van de gastvriendelijk en de mooie piano muziek die live gespeeld werd tijdens de maaltijd. Een echte aanrader!

Geweldig verrassingsmenu met na de amuses nog 4 gangen! Geweldig sympathieke bediening van zowel personeel als eigenaar, die ook nog prima piano speelt.

Als je lekker wil eten, wil genieten van de sfeer, dan moet je hier zijn. Heerlijk eten en een super eigenaar.
