Truly amazing place. They have so many great products, that i felt like a kid in a candy store. You can buy fresh vegetables, so many different kinds of noodles, alcohol and non alcohol drinks, meat, snacks and many more. This store has everything that you will ever need to cook yourself a nice Asian style meal.

This is the best place for asian grocery in Groningen. I find lot of things including Indomie, Samyang, terasi, and other ingredients to make sambal matah, even fish cakes and stuff, also gochujang. They have variety of instant noodle, Soju and sake, they have tempe also ikan asin. 💕💕💕

Very nice store with great and extensive assortment. We even found fresh taro which was a delight for us. Besides the ready-to-eat/take-out meals they also have a fresh fish section. It had been a few years since I visited their stores, but the prices used to be much more competitive. Not sure if the inflation is the cause for this or they have wiped out all the competition.

I love this place, it's a big asian super market with almost everything you need to start making the most delicious asian food (in particular Chinese, Japanese, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Taiwanese, Thai food). And you got to try out these cakes you see on the picture i made, they are delicious. My mother used to make those when i was little 🤤.

I was amazed to find so much oriental foodstuff under one roof. The staff was very helpful, as it was at times confusing to find things, even if there was an English translation for about everything. The prices were quite competitive and the aisles are spacious. Bonus...cooked food available and there is a coffee style area next to the checkouts where one can indulge in Asian food. Great find! Thanks to my daughter who lives in Groningen!

You can see any type of noodles 🍜 there from Korea, China, Japanese and many more. They sell more than just noodles 🥰

one of my favorite stores in the city! lovely staff and wide selection of products! Regular seaweed is hard to find sometimes though because everyone always wants it … thats my only negative thing to say about this place though.. i love it!! there’s also a section where u can order food that they prepare/heat up for u and u can order bubble tea ^-^ its all delicious!

There are varieties choices for different cuisines from Asia, many choices for groceries and fresh food. The corner for fresh seafood and fresh meat is very interesting. The price is good. The staff are helpful.

They have a really good selection of Asia foods except maybe ramen. Also could not use my Visa or MC here. Only cash or bank card which seems to be for many businesses in Groningen

Biggest Asian supermarket in Groningen! Mostly east, southeast, and south Asian products available. Glad to have such a market like this near me!

Unique collection of Asian and Caribean food, spices and ingredients.
Prices are reasonable -> given the fact that most things are not available anywhere else, they could have significantly increased prices.
good thing they haven't. That makes the Amazing Oriental a viable alternative for your daily groceries.

One of my favourite shops. Also one of the few shops to warn and inform customers over the Tannoy Re: how to behave in the shop during the C-19 pandemic. Good / prompt customer service. Produce assortment, i.e. herbs, sambal / chilly pasts, vegetables, oils, crockery et cetera is vast! One is spoiled for choice This shop features a ready home-made authentic oriental food section set apart from the main shop. The dishes on offer, which you can enjoy on-site or take home are really tasty (authentic) and affordable. Frequented by many Asian people!! Always a reliable indication Re: quality overall. Good hygiene standards are maintained at all times.

Where I am from the asian shops are tiny, cramped and not very welcoming. Live for asian cuisine though, so finding this shop has upgraded the cooking in the household 1000 fold. Staff is also nice and helpful. Less crowded than normal grocery shops (baskets are an option, not like other places were everyone needs a trolley and blocks all paths) honestly, if it was possible to only shop there, I would.
