Kinepolis Groningen

I'm especially happy with this location as it's close to my home. Parking is great if needed. The movie halls are as good as you can get in my opinion the sound is just absolutely worth going to the movie theatre for.

Thank God this place exists because Pathe Groningen has a horrible sound system. This place is way more quiet as it is not in the city center, has a good service, still normal price, good sound, bigger screens and cozy seat options.

Nice cinema with excellent parking and accessible via public transport. Do note that the cinema uses a short break in every film viewing.

Clean. Friendly staff, and the mid-time break is much appreciated. :-) a great place, although typically more expensive than other film venues.

Great seats, great picture quality, good sound. Snack choice is good though prices are on the high side but what movie theater doesn’t sell overpriced consumption. Handy there’s a huge parking garage under the stadium.

Excellent cinema! Ample parking, no annoying teenagers or students.
Best of all, an intermission so you can go to the bathroom without missing part of the film.

One of the two major cinemas in Groningen. The atmosphere is less crowded than Pathé, with wider spaces and seating. They also still offer discount passes for 5 and 10 viewings, which Pathé no longer does. The main downsides are location and related parking fee, and they have breaks in the movies, which is a matter of preference.

One of the very good movie theaters in Groningen. It's a bit far from city center, but the screens are big and sound quality is top notch. I recently watched star wars ( I had already watched it at different movie theater) and it really felt different, a complete movie experience. Of course food (pop corn and drinks) is expensive. Have a parking spot below, and nearby which is good as well.

Great movie, helpful and friendly staff. Didn't try the popcorn or nachos, but I was a bit disappointed to see they didn't have nachos with melted cheese, only nachos with cheese sauce. Still a excellent movie-going experience, though.

Great movie theater. This is the one we always go to (as opposed to Pathe in the city center) because this one has easier parking and has intermissions. Especially with longer movies, it can be a long sit.

Food & beverages are not cheap, but that's normal for a movie theater I guess. Friendly staff. Oh, and if you order your tickets online (pay with iDeal) and print the voucher, there's a pickup machine in the lobby where you can scan the bar code and pick up your tickets. Doesn't always work (meaning that you still have to go to the counter) but is great when it does.

Got a 9:45 ticket to Bullet Train and everything went smoothly staff was very friendly and helpful.

Honestly a very good cinema, only downside is that it is a bit pricey. But if there's a movie you've been looking forward to for a while this is the best place to experience it in Groningen

Large comfortable chairs, good service, you can pay for your parking while getting something to drink before the movie (so you don't have to wait in line ^^)

Great cinema!!!! The bf chose "cosy seating" the likes I'd not seen before, its your own sofa type chair and table.... fab when you're in for a long movie 🤗

Nice movie theater with comfortable seats.

A little further from the city center, but a much nicer cinema. Large comfy seats, roomy and never all that busy.
