I really liked the old fashioned decor and the food was rather good. They serve a nice collection of shared side dishes with each main meal, and the menu has nice options, including different fish of the day, way more diverse and healthier than in many dutch cafes. I also found the service remarkably good by local standards.

Amazing restaurant serving a variety of local foods as well, very high quality and very nice interior. The Poffert is incredible, would recommend, but much richer than you expect, it's practically a whole meal. Will definitely eat here any time I'm in Groningen

Amazing place to try traditional Dutch food. Love the decor and the staff are very friendly. Food is hearty and delicious. Highly recommend it!

I have been going here with my wife for years. Good food at a good price and amazing ambiance. If that's not a good reason to bring your date to this restaurant, then I don't know what is.

One of the best places in town... Great food, large portions, nice atmosphere and everything for a reasonable price. The "daghap" (day menu) for €10 is great value. The place can be very busy during weekends and service may slow down a bit.
