Amsterdam Sloterdijk station

Sloterdijk station is a prime example of the rare Dutch high-tech architectural style. It was designed by Harry C.H. Reijnders. The station later got a Metro addition. Alteration to the station environment (gates, relocation of the buses) made it an inefficient transport hub. But demolishing the station would be a terrible mistake.

A big central station with train, metro, tram and bus. Organized and easy for all visitors, many diverse shops and restaurants

Some of the platforms are in the different building that could take 5 mins walk, you have to make sure!

The Flix Bus dropped us beside this train exchange. The complex also has Spar, Convenience and some other cool features!

It was nice and great experience here first time , easily familiarise with how to take take tickets either counter or by machine installed for self service.

Simple to use station... however you may have to go outside and walk approximately 100 meters for connecting platforms. Dutch railway system is easy to use, comfortable and clean.

Once we figured out the names of the trains and which tracks and trains go to what stations, travel became easy. Love all the food options at this station right next to our hotel.

There are three cafes here. I chose Starbucks where I could sit longer. toilet nearby. 0.7 euros.

It's a train and metro station connecting to multiple places. Here you can fine trains to the south, west, eat and north. If you are a tourist, there's plenty accommodation, restaurants and shops options around. It's also like 10 minutes away from Amsterdam Centraal, by train ofcourse.

Superb station, it connects all the neighbouring towns and cities to Amsterdam. Commuting is quite easy in Amsterdam with very less walking and waiting time, however its a bit expensive compared to rest of Europe.

Beautiful train station 🚉 and really from the future,, easy to arrive to all the places

Easy station to navigate. The only difficult part is you’ll need to go to a particular spot to order an Uber - there is only one available pickup point at Sloterdijk

Alot of different people go through this station bcuz its a bus terminal that takes you across europe , its always nice to pass through them and just wonder how thier life might be .

6 mins from amsterdam central, 15 minutes to Schiphol airport

There are 2 parts to the station, so check your platform on the screens before going through the ticket barrier.
Station is clean
Has food outlets and coffee shops.
Holiday Inn EXPRESS & IBIS hotels ate close, but if you want to be in the city centre, book Amsterdam Central
