I have been in a lot of bookstores but this one is certainly my favourite. The store is relatively small compared to the big chains in the centre (obviously), but their selection has surprised me several times.
Also, these guys are passionate about books and reading and really love what they do. Do ask them for advice if you are unsure what you are looking for.

Beautiful store, great selection of books (adults and children), very helpful and charming staff! I'm looking forward to come back for my next visit.

Great local bookshop with nice selection of children books. They also have a small section in english.
Always happy to help you and if what you are looking for not is available in house, they order it for you.

A small gem in this neighborhood. Passionate people with an incredible love for books. You can feel it immediately by their book collection and even more when you ask for help.

Best bookstore in Amsterdam. It's not about the amount of books, it's the value for money I always have there.

Support your local in the BoLo! Predominantly Dutch language titles, but I find they have a well-curated list of English too. From classics to the newly-published.

I meet here great woman, she is owner of this bookstore and very positive, energetic person. Good atmosphere!

Superfijne boekenwinkel! Leuke Engelse boeken en de personeel waren heel lief en zorgzaam. Onze hond kreeg zelfs een koekje 🥰 we komen snel terug

Wat een fijne winkel! Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, een boek bestellen was makkelijk en snel af te halen. Organiseren ook leuke activiteiten. Aanwinst voor de buurt!!

Leuke boekwinkel! Personeel is vriendelijk en de sfeer is prima. Wij mochten in deze winkel een boekpresentatie houden en dat hadden ze prima geregeld.

❣❣❣ Een van de betere boekhandels van Amsterdam en ver daar buiten : aantrekkelijke , relevante en actuele winkelcollectie / snelle en betrouwbare levering van bestellingen / vriendelijke , betrokken en deskundige medewerkers met persoonsgerichte adviezen / prettige , open sfeer / Wel erg wit elitair , dat dan weer wel , in een getrificerende , woke wordende buurt / Oppassen voor de etalageruiten ! ! !

Een mooie boekenwinkel om op z'n minst te bezoeken en vriendelijk personeel. Ik heb recentelijk een boekpresentatie daar gegeven en alles van communicatie tot wat er mogelijk is, ben ik zeer te spreken over.

Persoonlijke aandacht in een heerlijke entourage. Er liggen bijzondere boeken. Leuk om iemand cadeau te doen!
