Eatery De Watertoren

We booked in for a Friday night meal in early April and thoroughly enjoyed it. As mentioned in other reviews, the service is fantastic - personal and attentive. And the food? It was terrific. My partner is vegetarian and there was a good selection. She particularly enjoyed the coconut soup. I had the beef steak which was cooked to perfection - it melted in the mouth. And the desserts are well worth making room for as well. We'd been lucky enough to eat out at Ottolenghi's in London the previous week but both agreed we'd enjoyed the Watertower even more!

Lovely dinner, lovely hosts. The only thing I disliked is that we didn't go sooner! They took care with allergies and the emphasis is on taste! Pleasantly surprised. Loved that there was choice with the vegan options as well!

Excellent restaurant, friendly service and very vegan friendly. The menu is in three parts for each course: fish, meat and vegan with a good variety of choice in each category. I started with a chickpea croquette with a very summery salad, and followed with bakkeljauw, salt cod, on a potato tart. Delicious.

Its cozy atmosphere along with the place’s rich history makes it a perfect place for date nights.
I highly recommend the seafood. It’s fresh and delicious.

Ordered asparges appetizer and grilled salmon for main-dish.
This was amazing good - must be in top five of restaurants I have visited and both dishes was tasty and perfect. The beers was very nice too.
The blond man servant was polite and helped with the beers to go with the food. Not a cheap place but absolute worth the money.
