Great place for coffee, breakfast and lunch. Perfect to work and to meet up with friends. Small menu with tasty and healthy items. Great spot in the neighborhood. Service gets 3 stars as they forgot my initial order but further orders were quickly served. I would return!

Just an amazing place for breakfast! And not only :) The cappuccino was heavenly good, smooth, soft and no bitterness at all. Salmon avocado toast - simple classic, made very well, poached egg was perfect. Atmosphere is nice, plenty places to sit both inside and outside. Must visit!

I had an absolutely delightful experience at the Cafe. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, the service was impeccable, and the breakfast options were simply divine. From fluffy pancakes to perfectly brewed coffee, every bite was a treat. I can't wait to visit again!

Enjoyed some avo toast with poached eggs and a delicious filter coffee here. Service was fast and supper attentive. They also sell coffee beans and merch.

The atmosphere is just great. The service is also good - very friendly waitresses, always serving a bottle of water at the beginning. The coffee is amazing too. Overall, a very good place to sit, relax and drink coffee.

THE place to go in Rotterdam for a great coffee. Man met bril is my absolute favorite spot to study/work/catch up with friends/snack/grab a coffee/everything else! Their filter coffee is always interesting and flavorful. The service is really friendly and if you're there enough, the staff greet you personally. The café has a local neighborhood feel and is truly one of my favorite places in the city. 10 stars!

After being in over 10+ cafes in Rotterdam, this is most charming and amazing! Why?
- very spacious inside with lots of plants
- delicious coffee and they have the whole mini coffee factory there
- extremely kind personal who bring you free 0.5 of water in the hot day
- beautiful terrace

I was in Rotterdam for 3 days and their menu was so good that I came here all my stay for having brunch. I'm not usually a big fan of brunches but I must say that I found their menu quite original (compare of what we could have in France).
It is well executed, the tastes are there and are perfectly balanced.
The staff is really nice and smiling and you're serve quite quick. The coffee is also really good.
I will definitely come back next time I'm in Rotterdam!

Another fabulous coffeehouse in Rotterdam. Name means "man with glasses," and as a bespectacled man I approve fully. Espresso is superb and the shrub I had yesterday also excellent. They're changing cups so I got one of their soon-to-be-discontinued demitasses for €1! It's beautiful too.

I love coming here. The staff has always welcomed me with a glass of water and a smile. Sometimes it may get busy, but luckily it does not affect the quality of the coffee and friendly service.
Alongside your coffee order, there is a card with details about your coffee. I think this is a really nice touch!
Great food with decent prices.
Lastly, it's also a nice location where lots of different people gather, from families to students to young professionals, which makes it a vibrant cafe!

One of the best brunch in Rotterdam, close to the center and an amazing place , clean and modern at same time !
All plates were delicious, coffee was top, very good quality ( fyi: they grilled their coffee 💙)
Service was so good & friendly, especially Jennifer ( the manager) was a nice lady,so helpful & outgoing that made our day so nice !
You should taste pastrami with eggs, croissant with coconut cream & classic croissant. Salmon avocado is also top !
Prices were good in relation to quantity & quality of products! ( 15-20 euros the most incl one plate + coffee)

Super cool and hip place but the coffee is equally delicious! Had a cheese croissant and it was amazing as well. A lot of people working and studying in the cafe but there is sufficient space to chill out and have a drink too. The staff were very friendly which is always a big plus.

One thing I can't complain about the gastronomy scene in Rotterdam is its coffee roasters, and Man met Bril is one of the best in the NL for sure.
Such great coffees from diverse varieties roasted to perfection. The café also has a great atmosphere and the food is amazing and at a good price.
People gather there to grab a coffee, eat, work from, and meet friends, and the vibe is always good while the service is sharp. The early breakfast option is a killing one.
It's definitely one of my favs in town.

I love that they have a wide variety of breakfast options - from standard avocado toast and pancakes to Turkish eggs (Cilbir) and Pulled Duck Croque.

Another advantage is that they are open early at 7 am on the weekdays. They even have a cheaper option of breakfast platter until 10 am.

All in all, a lovely breakfast place you can visit, especially if you’re looking for something out of the ordinary🤗

The breakfast deal is great - A glass of orange juice, a cup of black coffee, avocado toast with a poach egg, chia and croissant with butter and jam. It’s a great deal, and truly the best way to start the day. I packed the croissant for lunch. 😉 Coffee - I took the filter coffee. The strong citrusy taste came when the coffee cooled to medium temperature. It wasn’t there when I drank it as it was first set down. It was more nutty in the beginning, as it cool, it brought in a citrus taste when I first sipped it and then turned into kind of a toffee taste. It’s quite mild and mellow. I usually prefer something more intense but I like how it has different taste at different stages.

I love the coffee here! The food is also great 💯 overall a solid cafe and definitely one of the best in Rotterdam

By the time we got there (around 1pm on a Saturday) they had run out of the big majority of dishes so we just ordered coffees. Both the atmosphere and the drinks were very nice, hip and stylish. They have plenty of indoor seats and a lovely terrace along the east side of the Hofbogen.

This place is AMAZING! The brunch we had on a Sunday was good and the coffee just wow! I love how they give a card for customers describing where the coffee is from. The service is a little bit long but on a Sunday is totally understandable.
I'll gladly come back!

Great coffee selection, you can have it at the cafe, take away or buy the beans here. It has a roaster right inside the cafe. We particularly liked the carrot cake, which is actually supplied by Urban Bakery. It is really good. The plants add a nice touch to the interior of the cafe and the location under the rail tracks is particularly interesting as well.

I can write a whole thesis paper about how much I love Man Met Bril, but well I am speechless. The coffee. The cronuts. Super tasty, diverse and affordable breakfast menu items. The vibes. The staff.
Simply my personal best place to be in Rotterdam.
