Mainport Hotel

Our stay was excellent, that was the best experience for me. The room had all the promised details, a nice bath, comfortable beds and clean sheets, nice interior, staff was so kind and helpful, spa was definitely perfect, we were amazed by the view it had, was better than all the touristic attractions maybe. This is a hotel you definitely need to go without thinking twice. Location was also the most convenient to see the city, very close to bars and restaurants. Lastly, the hotel has a very nice restaurant/bar and we even decided to stay couple of hours because that was so beautiful with the best view of Rotterdam maybe. Breakfast and drinks was a nice idea because of this.

Additional detail: we received an email about payment in advance to secure our reservation in the hotel 2 weeks before our stay. That is a scam which guest sometimes had, as the hotel approved, so be careful!

Nicely located nearby the business area in Rotterdam. The building interior itself is well designed, each floor has a different theme in colours and textures.
The breakfast was all fine and fresh, service is also good.
The rooms are also good by size and desing. The bed is comfortable, it was amongst the rare places where I didn't get a pain in my back after sleeping there a few nights. Everything is clean. If you can choose I recommend the rooms with view to the port.

Loved our stay here. Even though it felt like a very business stay hotel, we had a good time. Room was lovely- cosy and clean and the metro subway is just outside the entrance so it has great accessibility. Bar is lovely and has a water front view!

My favorite hotel in Rotterdam - modern and sophisticated. Tastefully decorated throughout, great gym with a view of the river and the spa is super relaxing. Like the glass elevators. Supplied Malin and Goetz toiletries when I stayed and had yakult for breakfast - amazing!

We recently stayed for a long weekend at this hotel, when you walk in it’s very spacious and modern, the front reception very friendly.
On entering our room it looked clean and nicely decorated, it was positioned to the front of the hotel, not noisy.
The only fault we found was half eaten food and left over bottle of wine in mini bar/fridge from previous occupant, they were taken to reception and a free drink was offer in apology, just as well we did as a bottle of water we hadn’t consumed was added to our bill on check out but soon resolved when mentioned previous issue.

All in all a very good location and hotel.

Amazing customer service, friendly staff, a nice breakfast offering of food as a continental breakfast. The room view is very nice as I have the water view versus the street view.

The subway line is right out front. Would stay here again in the future.

Very nice hotel living up to its 5 stars rating. I chose this hotel because it was close to the port of Rotterdam where we were going to catch our ship for our Norway cruise. Staff was very friendly and the room very nice. Buffet breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. We had a sauna in our room, which overlooked the water. Definitely recommend this hotel.

My all time preferred hotel in Rotterdam, because of the view on the historical port, the spa rooms to fully relax and the great location between centrum and the Erasmus bridge !

the staff overall is very friendly and supportive, we enjoyed our stay a lot! my friend celebrated her birthday and we could spontaneously upgrade the room :)

Had a great stay at the Mainport Hotel! Fully stocked mini bar and even some intimate toys you could discreetly purchase. The water pressure was amazing and the room’s sauna and jet bath was to die for!

The Down Under Restaurant’s food were amazing!! The public steam rooms, saunas and swimming pool was clean and well maintained.

A stunning hotel. The rooms were lovely and spacious. The room came with complimentary gowns, slippers and toiletries. The whirlpool bath was amazing. They also had an ice machine on our floor too which was great for drinks! We stayed for a music festival at the Rotterdam Ahoy which was just over five minutes away on the metro. We didn’t have breakfast here but there are plenty of places surrounding the hotel to get a breakfast. Only minor problem I had was that the mini fridge came stocked to the brim full of items you had to pay for which made it annoying when we wanted to put our own stuff in there. It would be nice to have a complimentary bottle of water in your room when you arrive as other hotels usually do this! That is being nit-picky though, can’t fault anything else at all.

Very nice. Great service and large room. Ours has a sauna. Metro station is very near. Great walking from the back of the hotel around the river. Many restaurants nearby. Breakfast was available early but we opted to go out.

Best hotel I've stayed in during my time in Europ...Bohden Bohden is 2nd, but this place made me forget about that place. And Romey was amazing. Super helpful with suggestions and where to go. Definitely staying here if I come back.

This Hotel is very well positioned. You do have a direct Subway connection from the Main station and to Ahoy Conference Center. Also the main bar and restaurant street is in the walking distance.

Some rooms are equipped with sauna and some with a jacuzzi and sauna.

Great design of hotel, very friendly staff and amazing Spa on the 8th floor with unbelievable cool view on the harbor of Rotterdam. Breakfast was very good: a lot of choice and delicious. We really enjoyed our stay there. Spa Heaven was also wonderful: dry sauna, turkish steam room, swimming pool and private jacuzzi in our room. What can be better!?
We took also classic massage for one hour. It was not cheap but is was super. 100% Recommend.

Location is great with multiple parking spaces nearby and accessible public transport. The room is clean and quiet. The people at the reception are amazing.

I booked Waterfront Sauna room which have Jacuzzi and sauna inside the room.
Great view and the location is the best.
A metro station and tram station are exactly in front of the hotel door.
I would highly recommend this hotel.

Love Mainport and one of our favourite hotels having stayed many times before.

The hotel has a great design, really good location being walking distance to the centre of Rotterdam and the rooms are clean & spacious. Go for one overlooking the water and with a jacuzzi bath if you can!

We stayed for 4 nights a couple of weeks ago and had a medical matter that we needed investigating. Florence on reception was outstanding, calling the hospital to let them know we were coming and then clearly explaining where we needed to go... thank you so much!

Cannot recommend this hotel enough and also Rotterdam. Maybe not as pretty as Amsterdam but much more authentic, quite and full of its own charm.

Will definitely be back to stay again!
