Very fine dining experience with a very well chosen menu. The waiters were very polite and descriptive of the dishes we were being served. The whole restaurant is well designed with interesting decoration. I recommend and would come back.

First time at their new location, an elegant modern place suits their dishes. A great night with delicious food and drinks (half glass wine pairing) accompanied with great friendly service. My favorite was the fish main course, before the wagyu. Not often a white fish is paired with red wine, risky but it really works! Skip the sweet dessert, go with their cheese cart experience for a beautiful collection of cheese, fit for a royal!
Only one small min point: they don't serve pornstar martini!

this is one of the best restaurants i have ever visited. most dishes are both creative and tasted good. the desert was not as good as the rest of it but you always have that. the restaurant is very beautiful too. it costs a lot but for what you are getting its reasonable. service is friendly and of the level you should expect of such a place.

Excellent restaurant . Highlights of the menu were the talbot and the Australian wagyu in combination with the wines.

Very very good restaurant, perfect service, delicious food and well prepared dishes. Very generous portions. The bread is just out of this world, their selection of champagne, wines, dessert wines and liquors is insane. And make sure you have space for the cheese, their cart is amazing!

Amazing experience, far surpassing my (high) expectations. Every dish so thoughtfully, meticulously prepared, attention for both flavour combinations as well as the balance between different textures. I couldn't pick a favourite dish, because everything that was served was absolutely beautiful and delicious in its own way. A very good service team, everyone knew exactly what they were doing, everyone was really friendly and attentive. A well-oiled machine that added great value to the overall experience. One of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had, more than deserving of their two Michelin stars. We're definitely coming back.

Came on Wednesday night for a fantastic 2 Michelin star dinner. The 7 courses went by pretty fast until the cheese cart and dessert. We were fascinated by the stories told behind every cheese and how delicious they were. Food was top notch meeting my expectations for a 2 star restaurant. The attention to service detail was maybe not quite as good as other 2 star restaurants I’ve been to but was still a great staff. Definitely recommend the wine pairing but we did the half glass option so we weren’t totally trashed by the end. Definitely a must visit rotterdam location for foodies! Foie gras, oxtail carpaccio, and duck liver pâté appetizer was amazing 🤤😋. The venison steak main was like cutting through butter with a hot knife. I would come back just for a cheese tasting.

Amazing food, great service, love all the stories behind the food. I am pregnant, they made some various drinks that non-alcoholic. Definately worth it for michelin ** . For sure will come back again! Perfect place for a date or even business dining.

We had an absolutely amazing dinner at Fred. The staff is was so accommodating and friendly, and the style, with a good dose of Rotterdam swagger, is fantastic. Extremely high-end, creative food, with an ambience that avoids the experience being stiff or formal.

The various carts (whether it was the champagne cart, the cheese cart or the coffee cart) made the whole experience extra fun.

But ultimately, the food was the star: what an amazing, delicious experience. Really one of the better, most enjoyable dinners I’ve had in the past several years.

A most excellent restaurant. Service is excellent, food is perfect and a work of art. Need to book well in advance if you want weekend. Would go every week if I could afford to!

Great 5 course diner worthy of 2 Michelin stars. A definite must go for the ones who like great haute cuisine and like to be pampered.

Fred never fails to impress me with their creativity and perfectly combining different flavours in his every dish.

Choice of wines was a perfect match for each dish and it was another memorable night for us at Fred.

This place gave me, by far, the best service I got in a restaurant. Of course the food was excellent and they were open to make me a food experience without any meat (my request). The wine was excellent but also all the explanations behind the choices. They were not shy to refill my glass everytime it was empty. I really recommend it, and I will try to come back when I have the opportunity to visit again Rotterdam.

Fred is recently renovated to have a more modern look, and that's a very good thing, the place looks fantastic. The entire experience is spot on. You will not regret dining here

Arrived here this time through a summer menu offer. The signature could possibly be ordered extra. The menu was perfectly matched and contained fish and meat. Dishes were well prepared and particularly prepared. We can argue about taste, but we thought it was delicious. So tasty that we ourselves dipped the sauce or gravy with the bread (something we actually never do) The wines on the menu were also well matched and had the right flavor

We travel internationally a lot, and this is easily one of the best restaurants we've ever been to. The service was world class... super attentive and friendly, without being over the top or pretentious. The food was beyond delicious, and the courses kept coming and coming. We had 4 people in our party, all with different food allergies and/or preferences, and they adjusted the courses effortlessly, as if all our special requests were their standard offering. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Rotterdam.
