Great bar, really good atmosphere, staff very friendly. Went twice during our 2 day visit.

I can't compare this location to a lot of other bars/pubs in R'dam as my first night was already that awesome that I prefered spending the other evenings of my stay there as well :) I haven't been there during the day but the later hours were simply amazing! The music depends a bit on the Dj of course but generally I had the impression that they played songs of several genres to please different age groups. Prices are reasonable, staff is friendly and motivated. On certain days you have to expect to queue up but it's worth waiting :) The doorman is very gentle and careful as well, so it was literally a great experience from the beginning to the end, I will definitely visit De Witte Aap again when I return to R'dam!! :) ♡

Heard it was a famous bar... they were actually filming when I was there. It’s just a normal bar in my opinion. Nothing fancy, the bathrooms smelt incredibly clean when I went in. I was also there on a Tuesday afternoon, but I would definitely come again on the weekend.

Great place to get a drink enjoy a nights out with friends. It's one of the scarce places that do not change into a nightclub after 11 pm. Which means that you can calmly enjoy a drink and a talk to friends the whole night. A big plus is that they serve Jack Daniel's honey as well!

Nice local beers on tap. Reggae music. Super friendly staff. All in a funky low - key neighborhood. A good go-to after museums.

My friends and I sat here for a good while and got excellent service and recommendations for beer. The guys who work here are friendly and knowledgeable about their menu.

This place is a gemstone hiding in plain sight. For residents and such there is a back bar available for hire. The staff are super friendly. The drink selection is great. The bar has a super friendly vibe and the music is brilliant. Good deep house, Doors, Hendrix, Lambchop, Lamb... Very little commercial stuff. My kind of place and you'll love it if you're laid back, chill and friendly.

Cozy place with a great selection of beers and cocktails. Also a large outside terrace with heaters and a separate bar. The staff is professional and knows what they are doing. Would definitely recommend this place as a start of your evening partying in Rotterdam.

Excellent selection of taps with a very helpful barkeep. Consider sitting inside to get the feel of this place rather than out on the sidewalk. Many beers from area including some serious small batches. Cool swag also available.

If you want a drink or a snack, doesn't matter, you come here to meet friends and people. Cool place to be. Quick and good service, perfect atmosphere.

It's nice bar in the center area and lots of bar around. You can enjoy drink, listen to music and meeting new people there. And the staff are very nice.
