I came to the shop for my little sisters birthday present and the guy that worked there was very nice and helpful. He had also a lot of knowledge about the skincare products so if you are new to (Korean) skincare he would be able to help you based on your concerns and budget! Very nice! And also very beautiful aesthetically pleasing inside. I recommend everyone to go.

The worker advised me very respectfully how to properly use the products I bought. I could tell what my skin goals were and he helped me to select some products that might help me get there. Will definitely be back!

Great place for all you skin care needs. I love the brands they have carefully curated. Paired with honest and knowledgable advice, this has become my favourite shop in Amsterdam. Do try one of their treatments at the Face Lab. It was relaxing and my skin felt amazing afterwords!

This is my go-to for nearly all of my skincare needs. While they have an online shop, I recommend going in person as the owners are really invested in what they do and take the time to answer questions and give personal recommendations. It's been so lovely spending the extra time in the morning and evenings pampering myself with such excellent products and noticing the difference they make is just icing on the cake.

It’s a small shop with a good range of Korean skincare. The woman working there today was so sweet and kind and helped me choosing what would fit my skin concerns. She even gave me some testers and was genuinely such a sweetheart! I will definitely visit the shop again, if I’m going to be in Amsterdam!

My skin was freaking out so I came to the Laboratory hoping to find a product that would address my concerns, and thought since I had a somewhat decent skin care routine, I knew which products to choose on my own, but in retrospect, if it wasn’t for the kind and helpful salesmen, I don’t know if I would have achieved such great results without his guidance.

After letting me browse for a bit, he asked me if he could help me find anything in particular and once I told him I was looking for a product that would help with a specific concern, he talked me through my issue, explained which products would serve me the best and let me sample a few things which I found really delightful. He even instructed me how to incorporate the products into my skin care routine for the best results which was advice I really needed to hear. I realized that I was wasting a lot of product by skipping important steps, and overall being lazy with application.

I was so excited to try out all of his recommendations at home because he was very thorough in his explanations and had amazing skin so I knew I had something good to look forward to lol!

I went home and did as he said to get wonderful next day results! I’m so pleased with my visit and the expert help I received.

My skin feels and looks so much better thanks to him! Can’t wait to go back, Laboratory K really helped rejuvenate my face and taught me a valuable lesson about my own routine. :)

My experience at this store was really wonderful. The staff is very polite and attentive to the needs of the customer. I came in with a specific skin concern and little knowledge of skin products and I was safely guided through possibilities for a skin care routine. I was given a full demonstration of all the suggested products on my skin and I left there with an excellent routine which has massively improved my skin. I want to thank the owners for the service they provide and for helping me get to my best skin:)

It’s been about two weeks since i went to the store and my skin has already improved so much thanks to the tips and products the store owner recommended!! He takes his time for the customers and gives individual help/recommendations which is amazing. If i ever plan on visiting Amsterdam again, Laboratory K will be the first stop!

I always love to go to Laboratory K. They offer help with trying new skincare products which are good for my skin. So now my skincare routine fits me perfectly. Friendly, very good hygiene standards, and they take time to give good advice. So now I go regularly.

Lab K is my go-to for skinproducts and personal service. Since I came there for the first time, I don’t bother going anywhere else anymore.

I bought many gifts there for friends and family who sometimes have specific skin issues. They are all very happy too, amongst them friends in Italy and France, genuine people that are quite picky about their products. One of them literally shouted: “oooh! I need this again when it’s finished!” the moment she tried it :)

I have been obsessed with skincare my whole life and having grown up in Vancouver, I was accustomed to Asian beauty products from an early age. After experimenting with different products since moving to Europe 15 years ago, I was never fully satisfied with my skincare routine. I was very happy to discover Labratory K and their extensive line of Korean products upon moving to Amsterdam in 2021. While I generally have good skin, the team were excellent in helping me find the right products to address concerns like winter dryness and hyperpigmentation. I also appreciated the honesty of what would be beneficial. With most of my products now coming from them, my skin is smoother and brighter than ever. Having recommended Labratory K to friends, they have had similar experiences and similar benefits. Highly recommended to anyone looking for solid skincare advice, great products and a lovely team to help guide you!

Looking at the more negative reviews, I understand why I didn’t experience any of the negative behaviours of the manager/owner. I’ve been purchasing Korean beauty products for years now and this shop happened to be close by to where I was. I entered the store knowing exactly what I wanted and I asked him for it without needing to touch the product or look for its price tag.

I hope that in the future, the owner puts the price tags in front of the products to avoid customers from touching them. He seemed so sweet that I don’t want his business to suffer because of his negligence.
