Black and White Bookstore

Fantastic store with a terrific range of books.
The people who work at Zwart op Wit are all big readers whom you can ask for advice anytime! Their expertises range from the classics to the newest Booktok bestsellers. Moreover, this store's section of English literature is pretty extensive, as is its array of magazines, children's literature, art books and gift cards.
I haven't yet mentioned the store itself. Feast your eyes on the colorful 80s shop exterior and the cozy display of books inside. It's lovely to just walk in and have a look around.

Reading through all of the other wonderful reviews on here, I'm reassured that I wasn't mistaken in my first impression: That this would be the bookshop I would visit the most if I were an Amsterdammer. Small but fascinating selection, I had such a nice time browsing!
