Park Frankendael

Lovely peaceful park to wander around in. The landscape is very lush with lots of trees, flowers, and hidden paths. There are some benches to rest and watch the ducks. Pretty easy to wander around and possibly get lost.

Beautiful park in the middle of the Watergraafsmeer. The playground is great entertainment for kids and the local farmers market once a month is great.

Nice park for a walk with kids and friends

Lovely place to take a walk and commune with nature. We discovered this park as we were early to a reservation at De Kas, a restaurant located within a former city greenhouse in the park. The park is beautiful with semi-timid wildlife willing to come and visit with you. If you are coming to De Kas arrive early to walk in the park. It will bring peace to your soul.

Very relaxing place for running and cycling

I biked around the park early in the night, and loved how city lights reflect on the water, and how bridges make for a narrow entrance to the park on both sides. The glass restaurant inside the park seemed fancy.

Er managed to squeeze in a nice autumn bbq. Park is always good with plenty of space and some shaded options as well.

Come here for open green spaces, a sandy playground with fence, comfortable benches, water taps, and shady walking trails.

We visited this park several times as tourists with small kids, during July/August.

This is a lovely park and a bit of a lesser-known Amsterdam gem, with hidden pathways through the trees and nice wide-open grassy spaces.

Nice chill city park. Not to far from the busy city center area. Great place to get some food, drinks, a blanket and a ball and spend a couple of hours destressing. And as a bonus you get to admire the family of storks living high in the chimney top.

Kool place for a sunny weekend...you can play sports with kids, small games with friends, a picnic or just for get together. It's big, clean with good surroundings. Some events keep happening where you can spend few hours shopping, eating and drinking in a musical environ over weekends..

A nice place, not to crowded and nice Forrest route for a walk. Small park

De Kas Restaurant, fine dining situated in a green house specializing in food from farm house to table. Book early took us 5 months to aquire a reservation.

Love this park, there are hidden little paths to make you feel in the middle of nature. There’s also a stork’s nest!

Amazing park. Every last Sunday of the month there's a market with food, music, clothing, etc. Kids friendly. Pet friendly. Great place to walk, run, and chill.
