Worst approach I have ever seen. Being refused service, if you don’t pay in cash in a country where everything is paid by card. Not only that but seeing people pay with card, in front of you, only to be refused the same service. Consumer support exists not, as the answer from local authorities was “figure it out yourself”.

Very hypocrites people. They always change the price if you are not aware. If they see also someone drunk they put the price higher.

The guy should probably not be a **** to everyone, put prices on his products and accept card. Further, wanted €5 for a bar of Milka. Obviously went to a different shop. Overall an interesting business strategy.

Both the man and the woman working in the store were incredibly rude, it’s like they resent the customer for coming into the store. I’ve found the people in this city to be very polite, but if you want to see some bad customer service and some wildly overpriced products, this place is for you

Do not use this store. Rude staff. No pricing and then overpricing. Wont let you pay by card. Says No Visa No Mastercard on card machine. When we tried to use card machine he added an additional €1 charge.

The store owner is an awful man… I went in only for a pack of cigarettes. He was going to charge me for a lighter without asking me, I told him I already had a lighter thank you very much. He then said ‘this is not a cigarette shop you have to buy something else’ and took the pack off the counter, so I was forced to buy the lighter in the end. Then he questioned me about my age in a very rude way. Not a pleasant experience.

A lot of people say that the staff is rude at this location. I can see why they think they are rude. But it is more than that. It is a depth of self-loathing and regret bed by life choices that you never even thought were choices. This is a place where there is no joy. They do not smile. They do not talk to one another. They do not help you. It is just as funny as the last Miami Vice movie

Avoid if possible. Most expensive nightshop in Amsterdam. I live here for 25+ years.

Last three times (!) I’ve been they tried to overcharge me. The only reason this place still exists is because they rip off drunk tourists. Indeed it is one of those night shops without price tags, marking up €2 bottles of wine to €12.. try Nachtwinkel Sterk instead!

worst store and seller. the seller, an adult man, before your eyes, is trying to deceive you and take money from above the price. and he is ashamed of it, directly in the eyes to lie to you. 100000000% do not recommend

The woman working with short hair was extremely rude and discriminatory she made all of us very uncomfortable and doubled the price of the wine because it was cold never come here I do not recommend

My experience was AWFUL. HIGH PRICES AND RUDE PEOPLE.
They didn't have the prices on a lot of things and just because I asked a man working there about prices, he was so rude. He also made me pay 10 cents more on what I bought and the prices on some things are too high.
Never going back there, there are better and cheaper options around and people are nicer. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL.

Scam! Overpriced for what you get. He has no shame in asking too much money, even though you’re a local.
