Olympic Hotel Amsterdam

Perfect stay in Amsterdam thanks to our lovely hotel stay! Everything from start to finish was great, staff are so nice and friendly. The food and drinks available in the restaurant is great, and so many options, and tasty. Rooms were nice and clean & comfortable, and cleaned each day by housekeeper. The whole atmosphere of the hotel is nice, chill and cozy. With lovely spaces, couches at reception and foozeball / games other side. Also, we didn’t get to try, but the sauna & hot tub facilities looked great! Overall, super reasonable price, good location, not far from centre and close to subway/tram line. Thanks for a great stay! Would definitely return again and would recommend.💯

Cant understand the one star reviews that were left for this place. Making a point to leave a five star review to counteract those low ratings. Recently stayed with my boyfriend and we had a great time. The lighting, furniture and music create such a relaxing and warm atmosphere in the reception/bar/lounge area, if you're the type of person who likes to sit back, relax and enjoy a drink this place is for you. The bar service and cocktails were brilliant. All the staff we met were very polite, efficient at their jobs and happy to help with any questions.
We had a silver room (i think) which had a corner window, big bathroom and lovely big bath that can easily fit two people. Room was nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable.
Location wise it is on the outskirts of the city, but an easy and very enjoyable bike ride gets you to the center in about 25min, i never ride bikes but Amsterdam has converted me! We liked being a bit out because we got to enjoy the local area which was full of cool cafes and restaurants. We will 100% come back to the Olympic.

Overnight layover in Amsterdam, front desk staff was unbelievably accommodating. They went above and beyond to secure us a spot in their hot tubs (which are awesome). The front desk’s efforts left such a positive impression on us, and we are truly grateful for their hospitality. Room was clean and tidy, such a great stay!

Had a great time staying here, arrived very early and the service staff were very accommodating to look after our bags until our room was ready. The food in the restaurant was great and the wait staff very friendly. Although the location wasn’t within walking distance of some of the main tourist spots, it is a reasonable distance from the bus.

I liked my stay very much. Honestly it is the best if compared to other hotels of the same stars level.
The room is very clean. The room design is comfortable. All what you want is there; coffee machine, kettle to boil water, fridge and safe.

We enjoyed our stay at the Olympic for 11 nights while visiting Amsterdam in late August. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. It is convenient to the tram line 24 which connected us to everywhere we wanted to go in the city. We rented bikes from the hotel and easily rode to Vondelpark. The sauna and cooling tubs where very nice. Usually ate breakfast on our own outside of the hotel, but did try it one day and it was adequate. The canal view room was lovely, watching boats cruise by. We originally chose this hotel to be close Vrjie University, but we really enjoyed the neighborhood location outside of the tourist zone. I would recommend.

Really nice hotel, good room with good, clean facilities. Little out of town but easy on transport. Hotel staff were lovely and helpful ( especially one gentleman on reception)

5 minutes from the tram that takes you straight into town, great rooms, good gym, free sauna you can book, good view from rooms, and a relaxed bar.

This hotel has some of the nicest amenities (sauna, gym and jacuzzi) and is close to the airport.

Rooms are nice with modern and boutique art Deco styling.

Highly recommend if in Amsterdam for more than 2 days.

Comfortable beds, nice room decoration, nice view and excellent location near to the tram. You can arrive to downtown in 10 minutes.

Accidentally booked this without knowing the area. It was a happy surprise for sure. 4 stars in almost every way, great views, great location and great service the whole time. The only thing it let down was the shower tiles could really use a proper clean. Wouldn't hesitate to book again in future.

Really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Nearly everything was perfect, my only fault is that our room had plug sockets broken (room 3.12) staff are very kind and attentive

We were there just one night as our flight connection lost. In general was real 4 star hotel and the only thing was water was expensive there and I ordered from Uber Eats.

Great hotel, quiet and well organized. Rooms are clean and large enough, excellent breakfast and gym facility

Good location 500m to Metro,300m to tram. Parking available in front of the hotel. Good breakfast. Very nice staff. Check in was super easy. Room is good

I was positvly impressed by this hotel. Check in/out, room, cleaning,breakfast. It is more an option for youngsters .

Lovely peaceful hotel that’s only 25 minutes on the tram away from central station which only costs €3 on the tram, the hotel is literally a 2 minute walk away from the number 24 tram which takes you straight into the city centre. Amazing breakfast available and the rooms are great. Love the spacious shower with a glass door, not a horrible curtain. Views from the room are amazing. We liked the peaceful area around the hotel so we can end our night with a little quiet after all the busy & loud town night life. Great place and will definitely stay here again!

Had an incredible time at this awesome hotel! The Bronze Room Canal View had stunning city, canal, and Olympic Stadium views. Great location, friendly staff, and the jacuzzi and sauna made it even better. Can't wait to be back! 5 stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The hotel has an amazing scene. The breakfast was fine. Front desk called Mahir was very helpful. We felt special. We did not wait for check in and check out.

Nice modern hotel. Functional, comfortable. Lots of space in the lobby/bar/lounge/shared area. Location is a ways from the city, you'll need to take the 24 tram from IJsbaanspad which is only 5 minutes walk. You can buy tickets at the machine before boarding (no sales onboard). It's a direct line all the way into the centre, although it's a bit slow with all the stops.
